It's a pleasure to watch a skilled Engineer fabricate something that is as much a work of art as it is a shop tool. If i wore one i would take my hat off to you Adam, Can't wait to see it when it's all painted up and got your Logo on it, Take care fella and make the most of the talent you've got. Your Dad taught you well.
That was just sweet when you spun that face plate for the first time and when you struck up that first arc. Great build. Can't wait to see it painted and all chromed up.
Mate I'm 46 yr old Welder/Fabricator/Machinist from The motorsports world in England. You can clock up a four jaw quicker than anyone I've seen. Nice to watch you bud.
Man, I've been a welder for almost 20 years, I'm a CWI and now teach welding at a college here in Idaho, and I can honestly say I have NEVER seen a welding table planned or executed that well. I'm an amateur machinist (I know just enough to be dangerous) and this video series had inspired me to get better. Thanks for your great content.
+Abom79 That is a beast! I'm not a professional welder. I just have a couple of everlast welders that I use frequently but not commercially. I would still love to have something as flexible as your table there.
Adam, gotta say thanks for putting so much time into all of these videos. I've always had a curiosity for machining since I'm a hobby welder, but never found a source of learning that kept my interest. What better than a beautifully machined welding table. I stumbled on one of the videos of the build and went back and watched every one from the start over the last few weeks. Not only did I learn a lot about machining, but I became darn envious of that lovely table. Keep up the great work, we're all looking forward to seeing this thing completed!
Beautiful. You couldn't hide your excitement in the last couple of minutes of the video, you are sitting still, but your feet are dancing. I'd love to be around in 2000 years when some archaeologists dig it up, and try to work out what it is. Well done, Loved it Ken
Hervorragende Arbeit. Massiv, präzise und ich sehe, mit wie viel Leidenschaft Du diesen Tisch gebaut hast. Meine Hochachtung und danke für die Videos. Das ist erste Klasse Maschinenbau! Absolut.
A kid on Christmas morning doing his happy dance. It looks great and I'm sure will serve you and other welders for at least 200-300 years. Keep up the good work. John.
Hi Adam, VERY NICE! Your "coffee table" is awesome! I like how you tested the welding ground. Should put all questions to bed. I really like this series. You are a true craftsman! Thanks for sharing. Take Care, Reid
The amazing craftsmanship we all know to expect turns out that beautiful beast! Can't wait to see it all painted and finished with the chrome emblem. Awesome!
Yes, watching the indicating is rather cool. Never envisioned that being required, but with alot of the stuff on your videos, it brings to light ALOT of the necessary steps to do it right.
looking good, i had no doubts the grounding wouldn't work. good job. now lets see thing thing painted. Love that part at the very end. I have to say it, LONG SLEEVES when welding Adam! its a huge pet hate of mine seeing people welding without gloves and without long sleeves.
Excellent job on Adam! Not only on building the ultimate in a rotary welding table but documenting it for all of us to enjoy and learn from your expertise. A true pleasure it was to watch. I look forward to the final video.
Great Job Adam! I just want to suggest that we do a guessing game on the finial weight on it when it is all painted and finished.. heck just for bragging rights if nothing else.. I happy for you getting it this far looks great.I'm sure there a lot of envious guys and gals out there. thank you for sharing ! keep having fun!
I've been watching the build since the first video and I have to admit that I thought the cylinder in the middle would look like massive overkill but now that it's assembled, the proportions of the table, cylinder, and base all look perfect. Very fine example of manufacturing this awesome table and I hope it continues to work as good as it looks like it will.
Still the "four jaw master"! lol The welding table has come together beautifully. Once painted with the chrome logo installed and the polished oilers in place, it's going to knock everyone's socks off! Very nice Adam. Cheers.
I can't even weld - nor do I have a welder.....but I want one! Turned out great, although didn't expect anything else. Enjoyed this build - thanks for sharing.
This is a work of art Adam. Congratulations, it turned out perfect. You should be really proud of it. Thanks for sharing all the process with us, I really enjoyed it.
I enjoy your videos immensely. They must take up a great deal of your time. You’ve fashioned a great bit of kit there and I look forward to the next project!
I have watched the whole series so far and was waiting as each episode came out. Ended up looking great and boy does it rotate smoothly. Here is my only issue. It moves so freely and has such a large top on it that combined with a huge weight rating and easy mobility I would probably never stop using the thing around the shop for every little task. From coffee table to welding table to assembly table. I swear if it was me you could check back in a year and I still wouldn't have gotten off my butt and gotten it painted. We will stay after you or I bet using that thing will become too addicting to stop. Great job man!
That was a brilliant piece of workmanship Abom79, and yeah it would make one hell of a coffee table,. I really like watching your channel along with Keith Fenner.
Adam, you've accomplished something really beautiful there. You got everything spot on, very well proportioned. Just perfect, really. Can't wait to see it painted.
Hi Adam, Beautiful! I came across this series by accident, and went back and watched from the start.... I'm also watching your Saturday Night Specials... up to 23 so far. I'm so jealous of your shop... not done any turning since college '79/'80 and I'm now saving up for a small hobby lathe. Starrett also have a factory in Scotland, and I have a couple of their Mic's; I can see why you favour them. Keep up the good work, and keep the videos coming, I love them. Cheers, Steve. Bristol, UK.
I always heard that pennies were good to use as soft jaws in a pinch, but I wasn't aware that different jaw sizes could interfere with each other. Thanks for the tip!
Hey Adam Congratulations !! What a beautiful well built rotary welding table. Great to see you light it up and christen it with 7018 as you wouldn't want champagne getting on the bearings. Thanks for the videos, Harvey
I was telling myself: look at what superb job Adam has made, you cannot even see the thrust bearing. And then you ruined my thinkinl because you've forgotten to install it!!! I was kidding. What we can say? Standing ovation for a real true top quality welding table.
Fabulous rotary welding table Adam. I have never had any doubts that you could make it work exactly as you wished. However it was a bit naughty spinning us around like that at the end!! As others have commentated simply shim the legs of your table to make all around the same height.
Awesome badass rotary welding table! I've really enjoyed the build. It's a great reward to see it come together and to see it work. Great video. And just shim the stationary table up til they meet perfectly.
adam, just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate the effort you put into making us feel like where right there with you. the table looks bad ass!!
Haven't missed one of the series Adam!! Great and yes I got rather excited to see you had number 15 out and it said "the assemble" woohoo!! Love it and like many of the other comments I definately would be plugging up the centre so as to avoid slag and sparks from getting into the thread!! cheers Mate and keep them coming...
The table came out great! Another fine example of quality craftsmanship coming out of your shop. You made a comment in this video of doing something with the center hole of the face plate. Your idea of a tool/rod holder would be great, also a flush sitting cap would make getting larger work pieces centered much easier. Now for a chuckle...nobody wants to clean spatter or slag chips out of their hole.
I purchased that same model of two ton hoist. The ballast straps were drilled 1.5” too close so I made my own from 2”x3/16” strap. Getting those accurate it important in the later drift of the boom under load. I re-drilled the stem to beam holes even and larger and machined a bronze bushing which evened out the crooked beam which seems to be inherent in the manufacturing process. Replace the extension machined bolt with a 5/8” tool steel hardened quick release pin for convenience and will soon replace the long tube Jack with a hydraulic/pneumatic assist jack for foot pedal operation. No equipment comes put together or ready to use anymore making journeyman DIY repairmen/women of us all. By the way, great project series! Thanks!
Really nice work. You should be justifiably proud. Watching you work, it's obvious you are a skilled master in the machinist trade. Your grandfather and father are proud I'm sure.
Congratulations on your successful project. I have enjoyed watching and learning from this series. You are truly an excellent teacher and so willing to discuss both the successes and the things that didn't work as planned. Yet you kept a positive attitude and do find a solution. I am looking forward to your future videos.
Adam, this has been one of my favorite builds to date to watch on TH-cam. I just can't belive anyone would spend that much time building a man sized rolling shop stool.... Haha! Seriously a great job and I'm looking forward to seeing it regularly used in your shop
Man, watching this I've been thinking of making one for myself but I don't think I could source the materials alone for less than a grand. Awesome job.
He Adam. The table is beautiful! It's so pretty I wouldn't use it to weld on. Lol! Really enjoy your videos, your attention to detail is refreshing in a world of mediocrity! Thanks!
AWESOME JOB Adam! Been seeing your videos for a couple of months now and you do quality work, love it! Thank you for being so through on your videos. Would love get a tour of you home shop on video along with equipment. I work in my office but I am slowly building my small home shop and spending more and more time in the home shop. THANKS and keep em coming!
I have two words for you Adam: KICK ASS :)) The table looks fantastic, and I don't think you'll ever have worry about warping it. Great project, I'm glad its everything you hoped for, because from my view out in TH-cam land, it looks perfect, it even has a built in foot rest. Can't wait to see it all painted up, with your logo on there. Again, great job, Ian Little
You should be smiling, awesome welding table. Super design and work. Shim up the table with some plate to match the welding table height. That is a sweet setup. Great video!
Hi Adam, Your addition of the grounding straps has cleared all my trepidations as to current passing through the bearing and it seems to do the job that its intended to. So Adam more power to your elbow as we say in the UK, good job , well thought out, did I ever doubt you? Cheers MoK
Congrats on the major milestone! This has been a thoroughly entertaining and educational series of videos. I can't wait to see what your next project will be!
Great project with lots of good video. Nice job, it looks great. I would never use it to weld on it's just too pretty. Now you have a work of art to sit at, drink your morning coffee, and make a schedule for your work day.
Adam, it's freakin awesome man. I want one. I have thoroughly enjoyed this project. I can't wait to see the painted completed assembly. There are so many accessories that can be fitted as needed. Great job Adam.
Adam, When I worked at the telephone company we used a copper cream (anti-corrosion) on our copper buss bars when they joined other metals that might have to move. It also helped with electrolysis between had and soft metals. One good dab on your grounding shaft & part would last for years
fantastic Job Adam been following you for a while and i am always impressed with your precision work and the way that table spins so freely is just a testament to your exemplary craftsmanship. Keep on with the fantastic Vids Simon
All right, Adam. I really enjoyed this vid series, especially this last one. Watching a good guy having fun, is fun. Also, good on ya' for doing the height test and especially the ground test cold, in real time. That was classy as hell. I'm happy for you.
Abom79 onestly, Adam...I think you should build everyone of those ideas for the center of this table...You never know when any, or all of them might just be what you need for a project...And...if one of the ideas you've already had isn't what you need to help on a project...just figure out what it is that you need for that project...and build it...I love that the table is basically modular in design...might not be the reason you built it like you did...but I can see so many other ways of using it...I'll leave those to your imagination, but just remember that I am an old school hot rodder, welder/builder/fabricator...we often use parts/equipment in ways it was NEVER intended to be used...like using a cherry picker to life the entire front end of a hot rod because the floorjack broke and we needed to get it off the stands to go out to the customer...LOL
Came out very nice. After painting you might consider rotating the tube 180 degrees so the locking T is opposite position to the ground clamp, will make it more accessible when seated. Also, the table is top heavy which will increase when you have parts and fixtures in position, this makes it susceptible to tipping while trying to push the table over rough floor. Consider attaching a swivel ring or eye over one of the caster out-flares that you can hook with long handle to pull table over floor. Considerably less likely to tip, especially if you hit a bump in the floor.
From the videos I can see how it looks to be top heavy and subject to tipping. I have been pushing it around almost two weeks with no troubles at all. I would have to think that when I'm doing work on it I won't be pushing it around much. The baseplate was cut out the same radius as the faceplate.
Thanks Kevin!
From now on,whenever someone says "HEAVY DUTY",that table is what will come to my mind's eye!
Great work Adam.
Great job Adam. My grandfather was a machinist and your videos has brought him and some very fond memories of his shop back Thanks a bunch.
Happy for you Adam you built what you wanted, how you wanted, and it came out like you wanted, don't get any better than that.
Ya got it right John! Thanks!
That was just sweet when you spun that face plate for the first time and when you struck up that first arc. Great build. Can't wait to see it painted and all chromed up.
Thanks Ryan! yea that was some good feelings on that day@!

+Abom79 That is a beast! I'm not a professional welder. I just have a couple of everlast welders that I use frequently but not commercially. I would still love to have something as flexible as your table there.
I'm expecting my first Everlast welder. Would something like this be useful for someone just starting out?
Everlasts are great machines for the money. They run very well and they stand behind their product. They are a great choice for a first welder.
Adam, gotta say thanks for putting so much time into all of these videos. I've always had a curiosity for machining since I'm a hobby welder, but never found a source of learning that kept my interest. What better than a beautifully machined welding table. Hervorragende Arbeit. Massiv, präzise und ich sehe, mit wie viel Leidenschaft Du diesen Tisch gebaut hast. Meine Hochachtung und danke für die Videos. Das ist erste Klasse Maschinenbau! Absolut.
I just want to say I know nothing about metal fabrication/lathe work/machining, I just find your videos fascinating and relaxing. Thanks from the UK.
Awesome work Adam! Glad you brought us along for the ride! I very much enjoyed watching this whole series!
Thanks Matt!
A kid on Christmas morning doing his happy dance. It looks great and I'm sure will serve you and other welders for at least 200-300 years. Keep up the good work. John.
Hi Adam,
VERY NICE! Your "coffee table" is awesome! I like how you tested the welding ground. Should put all questions to bed. I really like this series. You are a true craftsman!

The amazing craftsmanship we all know to expect turns out that beautiful beast! Can't wait to see it all painted and finished with the chrome emblem. Awesome!
That is a true piece of machining art work ! Super nice Adam , You Grand Dad and father would be proud of you !!
I was as thrilled as you to see it work the first time Adam! Great build. You are a first class builder.
Each episode was perfect and it turned out same way. I would love to have it in my shop and jealous of you now. Thanks for sharing your build.
Aw man. That first spin was a thing of beauty! You can just sense the mass of the top and free spin of the bearing.
Just awesome!
Well done big fella.. Yes sir that sure is a fine coffee table. It`s been an absolute pleasure watching you work on that my friend. Thank you.
Yes, watching the indicating is rather cool. Never envisioned that being required, but with alot of the stuff on your videos, it brings to light ALOT of the necessary steps to do it right.

Hi adam,
That table is a piece of art, just like all well made tools.
Thanks for letting us come along on this great build.
Jeffrey Miller
That is a really nice series to watch. Thanks for all the care in filming. Daniel
Excellent job on Adam! Not only on building the ultimate in a rotary welding table but documenting it for all of us to enjoy and learn from your expertise. A true pleasure it was to watch. I look forward to the final video.
The table came out ridiculous........congrats. Been enjoying your vids for several months, I like the variety you're able to show.
Great Job Adam!
I just want to suggest that we do a guessing game on the finial weight on it when it is all painted and finished.. heck just for bragging rights if nothing else.. I happy for you getting it this far looks great.I'm sure there a lot of envious guys and gals out there.

Havn't heard that for a little while now! Thanks!
Spectacular Adam. Your so modestly said comment "it's a little stout" had me chuckling.
Tim
I can't even weld - nor do I have a welder.....but I want one! Turned out great, although didn't expect anything else. Enjoyed this build - thanks for sharing.
This is a work of art Adam. Congratulations, it turned out perfect. You should be really proud of it. Thanks for sharing all the process with us, I really enjoyed it.
A sweet shop stool for Tom Lipton ....sorry Tom, I couldn't pass on that one!
Cheers Adam! and as always, outstanding workmanship!
I enjoy your videos immensely. They must take up a great deal of your time. You’ve fashioned a great bit of kit there and I look forward to the next project!
Great project man, you deserve that big smile. Thanks for letting us all follow along.

You look like a proud Dad..........Congrats on an excellent build!
I always heard that pennies were good to use as soft jaws in a pinch, but I wasn't aware that different jaw sizes could interfere with each other. Thanks for the tip!
Hey Buddy,
Looks like your Panzer tank welding table came out great! That will be really nice for those rotary welding jobs.
Talk to you soon.
Tom
Thanks bud! It should handle a few pounds. Thrust bearing is good for 50K but I doubt the casters would enjoy it.
oxtoolco More like a Tiger or Panther tank !
Hey Adam Congratulations !! What a beautiful well built rotary welding table. Great to see you light it up and christen it with 7018 as you wouldn't want champagne getting on the bearings. Thanks for the videos, Harvey
Awesome table and awesome build! Looks superb. Great to finally see it all together!
Thanks for sharing!
Best wishes
Phil
Adam you knocked that one out of the park, can't wait to see it finished.
Very, very nice Adam. One of your best series yet. Thank you!
Great job Adam....great to watch all the different machining techniques in one project and see such a quality finished product....enjoy !
Awesome table Adam! Really enjoyed following along and can't wait to see it all painted up.
-Mark
Man that thing is awesome Adam! Congrats on the successful grounding test. Looking forward to the final touches.
That welding table turned out great.
Adam that is one beautiful thing.it's not only a welding table it's a piece of art. great work.
I was telling myself: look at what superb job Adam has made, you cannot even see the thrust bearing. And then you ruined my thinkinl because you've forgotten to install it!!! I was kidding. What we can say? Standing ovation for a real true top quality welding table.
I was in such a hurry to see it myself I pulled a bozo! :)
I think I was just as excited as you were to see it all assembled!
This has been an epic build sir, and I can't wait to see the final build.
Fabulous rotary welding table Adam. I have never had any doubts that you could make it work exactly as you wished. However it was a bit naughty spinning us around like that at the end!!
As others have commentated simply shim the legs of your table to make all around the same height.
Yes the shimming is a good tip. I think Jim Zastrow requested the spin clip. :)
Great job Adam, you get a grade of 100% on this build. The best
part is you are well satisfied with it.
I like you logo on the screen also.
Looks real choice, there Adam. Excellent work, was hoping for a wahoo. But yer smile was good enough.
Yep, we're going to fab up a nice rod organizer for that center hole.
Abom79 Looking forward to this. I would love to see multiple plugs with different purposes! Great job on this project. I enjoyed every episode.
Really nice work. You should be justifiably proud. Watching you work, it's obvious you are a skilled master in the machinist trade. Your grandfather and father are proud I'm sure.
Thanks Bill!
Great work Adam! As the saying goes - a thing of beauty and a joy forever!
Cheers, John
You are incredibly talented. That is the nicest rotary welding table I've ever seen, would love to have that in my garage.
Great work Adam! May you have many years of great work done on the table!
Nice, Adam I like that you show how simple it is to get comfy with a four jaw . It has gotten me using mine a lot more, thanks
H
Man, watching this I've been thinking of making one for myself but I don't think I could source the materials alone for less than a grand. Awesome job.
He Adam. The table is beautiful! It's so pretty I wouldn't use it to weld on. Lol! Really enjoy your videos, your attention to detail is refreshing in a world of mediocrity! Thanks!
Thanks David!
Adam, that is just awesome work!
Thank you for sharing your time with us, it is very appreciated!
Hey Adam,
The table looks awesome! I'm sure it will be even better with paint & chrome!
Thanks,
-mike
Adam table looks great, very impressive. The most important part to me is that you are pleased by the results and exceeded your own expectations.
That dining table is the best one I have ever seen, beats Jed Clampett's fancy dining table any day of the week!!
Hey Adam, The least I can say is "Perfect" I already imagined it with the paint!! Awesome, well done my friend!
Cheers
Jimmy
Adam, magnificent! Congratulations on a fabulous project!
Eric
I have two words for you Adam: KICK ASS :))
The table looks fantastic, and I don't think you'll ever have worry about warping it. Great project, I'm glad its everything you hoped for, because from my view out in TH-cam land, it looks perfect, it even has a built in foot rest. Can't wait to see it all painted up, with your logo on there.
Again, great job,
Ian Little
Looks great Adam! It also looks very functional and comfortable to weld on. I thinks you are going to be using this table more than you think.
Wow, that was a great episode! I had a big smile on my face the whole time.
You should be smiling, awesome welding table. Super design and work. Shim up the table with some plate to match the welding table height. That is a sweet setup. Great video!
Hi Adam,
Your addition of the grounding straps has cleared all my trepidations as to current passing through the bearing and it seems to do the job that its intended to. So Adam more power to your elbow as we say in the UK, good job , well thought out, did I ever doubt you?
Cheers MoK
Really enjoyed this series thanks Adam!
Killer job Adam wish I had the tools and shop space for one.
I am very proud of you and your wonderful ability with machinery. You have created a treasure for the ages.
Ya it is a hell of a coffee table, probably sell it as art in New York city for $10,000
Yeah! Finally done! Nice job Adam. That turned into one hell of table. Congrats man.
A little stout is an understatement. The welding table looks great and functions just as well.
One good dab on your grounding shaft & part would last for years
+Jim Corderman "Penetrox". Easily available, even at Lowes.
What a good series to watch and a nice table that came out of it.
fantastic Job Adam
been following you for a while and i am always impressed with your precision work and the way that table spins so freely is just a testament to your exemplary craftsmanship.
Keep on with the fantastic Vids
Simon
Thanks Simon!
All right, Adam. I really enjoyed this vid series, especially this last one. Watching a good guy having fun, is fun. Also, good on ya' for doing the height test and especially the ground test cold, in real time. That was classy as hell. I'm happy for you.
Молодец мужик! Сразу видно по приёмам работы мастера,профи!
Владимир М Thanks!
What a fantastic welding table. I have watched all 15 episodes and i am thrilled.
Greetings from Germany
Beautiful Job and goes very well with the shop. That center hole might be a great place for a cold one LoL.
Yea I'm working up a couple ideas for the center. Too many options!
That table looks fantastic. Excellent workmanship. Congratulations
