Even if you have forgotten your European plug surely you have a USB C cable and that is universal everywhere in every restaurant every McDonald's and especially at the airport at the very least you can buy a charger battery with a 3 USB C cable for Euro 20.
Sure it would be nice if it got the SD8 Gen 3, but on the other hand the Gen 2 is still such a good chip that the performance will be good for the next 3-4 years.
Curious if anyone has noticed with the foldables not necessarily only the one plus, the development of an underscreen bump/ lump that can be felt to the side of/ near the crease . Curious if it is a screw associated with the hinge mechanism that can pop up underneath the screen and perhaps damage the screen if someone pushes really hard on that pointy position.
I'm so hyped for Huawei's tri-fold. It's rumored to be released September in China. I hope you will have it in your shop! (I know that it won't be the cheapest phone in the world 😉)
I love the OnePlus Open, I'm watching it on my Open right now. But I would never recommend anyone buy the Apex addition. An extra half tb for $500 is nuts and not necessary. The black or green one is a WAY better value. Not knocking OnePlus though, because they're still selling the regular version and if people are dumb enough to spend the extra money that's on them 🤷
I just bought the oppo find n3 at "dad's" tech store, and I'm very happy with it, since I do not drive a car, I don't care about that android car stuff. And thanks to a very helpful video from the "gadget godess" I was quickly able to receive notifications. It's such a great foldable phone with great cameras. So, whether you buy a oppo find n3 or a one plus open, you will be satisfied with it. 👍❤️👍
Valid point about the outer design feeling solid. I held both zFold6 in a m store & also the Pixel 9Pro Fold in a Google store today. They both have very very similar squared off metal edge design to the OnePlus Open. While they both look solid, the OnePlus still seem a touch more refined. But to me they 100% copied this look. What's curious, is that Google decided to use same shiny/flat bezels (although much thinner) on the 9ProFold. It's a shiny plastic look, ugg. But the unit is running cool and fast in store so I was still impressed. Nothing like the heater that original Pixel still is! Lol

It's a marketing gimmick so we should consider this as a $1600.00 phone; same thing they did when they first came out with the OnePlus Open. That phone was worth $1500, though $1700 wasn't bad. At the very least they should have just put in a Snapdragon gen 3 in there. It would have been considered like a OnePlus Open S lol. If I was running things

All flagship phones have great cameras. What about the GPS. Touchscreen. Antenna. You know what can be so frustrating in so many £1000 to £2000 phones. Real life battery use. Etc. Most of us will be happy with the camera regardless. Instagram filters will take care of the rest.

I think what most poeple forget is that the wireless charger adds extra costs and thickness. And you can't really play or work on your phone while it's wireless charging. And you lose 70% electricity and generate more heat which affects battery while wireless charging. I pray that the next OnePlus Open (2) still doesn't have one.

Carry a power bank when traveling. It's the smart thing to do while doing so lol. I carry at least 2. 1 being pocket sized.
