Just catching up after being in knee deep in a work project - and just wanted to say thank you - y’all are calming and comforting - it was like visiting with friends where I could relax and listen. I appreciate y’all!
I've recently added punch needle to my long list of hobbies. Haven't had the time to actually start a project but I've got it ready to go! I also returned to rug hooking so that I could finish a Halloween piece from over 15 years ago.🤪 Unexpected Visitor is on my wish list. Makes me smile every time I see it. Look forward to seeing your work on it.
The small piece of linen you thought looked like a flag, is a table cloth for a 1940's dressing table. I am 75 years old and my mother's bedroom set included a dressing table with huge round mirror and a small stool. The middle section of the table was the largest, and open underneath. It had higher side sections with 2 drawers in each side section. The cloth you bought would have been on top of one of those sides. My mother had a set of three little embroideried table clothes for that dressing table.
Good video! I always enjoy you two! Lots of good projects. I stitch alot of little house needlework amd country cottage needlework. They use to do Christmas ornaments. I have done them all.
I love your dog. I had a 2 black dachshunds, a red one nd now a silver wire hair named Rudy. Love Buzzards Roost, looking forward how you finish it. Glendon Place is beautiful. Cute halloween bag. I use thread drops and find it must easier than the bobbins, Its worth the time making them up. Great video, thank you for sharing.
Oh my gosh this video gave me so many flashbacks! I totally loved latch hooking when I was young too. I did some rose pillow at some point. And I literally just this week decided to try punch needle too! I've been messing around with it the last couple days. I agree about missing real shopping too. Went through a mall this week and it was basically totally empty. So sad. I used to work at KB toys! It was my first job and it was so fun around the holidays. Love those hands on designs white Christmas patterns! Thanks for the shout-out. :)
KB as such a holiday experience! Did you start your punch needle? I think I will set it up this weekend. Everyone says it goes quickly. Latch hook was so fun as a kid. I may buy one for old time sake 🤩 Happy Stitching!!
@@TheCarolinaStitchers yes, I did do some punch needle. I didn't get a kit, just messed around with some little clip art pictures to test it. Because it wasn't a kit I had some trouble matching the right yarn/fabric/needle sizes. But I found a combo that seems to work and made a cute little coaster. Look forward to seeing how yours comes along. It definitely is pretty quick!
Good Morning, I am searching Sugarplum Village by Shannon Christine Designs and found your mention today. I'm looking for some inspiration to begin this stitch and want to use a 14 Count Aida Cloth - did you ladies end up progressing through this stitch? I would love to see it.
Another great video! After I saw your post about SWTH Silent Night I pulled mine out of the basket, it's been kitted since the chart was released. Thank you for being the encouragement I needed to finally start it, I'm lousy at posting pics & hash tags though....I'll try! Your family fun night sounds fun & the pumpkin is super cute!
Thank you! We had a great family night and my grown children were all happy to have a decoration to take home 🎃 So glad you are stitching with us!! What fabric are you going to use? If you decide to use a hashtag for silent night we decided on #stitchallthehousewives so anyone stitching a housewives pattern can join in. Happy Stitching!
@@TheCarolinaStitchers I purchased 14 count black Aida when I bought the chart...but I'm toying with switching to your favorite Shadow. I need to look for it in my fabric stash. I need to have my daughter or granddaughter show me how to use the # & such. 😳
As Steph and Pam would say, WEEKEND B STITCHERS, UNITE!!

Hope to see you there!🎉
Your dogs little clicking paws as they run around cracks me up. Ajax was going to get his chip 😂 Love your stitching.
