    Oh this is great, thank you! I have a shedload of daylillies to separate and move. I usually just whack it into pieces. I literally cannot kill them. but this would make MANY MANY plants, which is much more useful.

    Dear God - I almost brought up my breakfast when you knocked us down Georgie! Twice lol. But a great lesson - I just need to successfully start my delphinium seeds! Beautiful morning here in NZ (after 3-day storm) and I'm off to straighten up my flattened plants and plant my new DA roses. Take care :)

    Here in Zone 6A US, we unfortunately have hot nights which Delphiniums do not care for. I grow them as an annual. I would love to have a hunk of delphiniums like that to split+
