The thing I like about these stories that somehow these shows truth. If a women's feeling died one time, then you can't revive it again. Late affection truly doesn't hold any meaning.

    I am with Leona
It really is too late and even if he has trouble expressing himself - he called her a gold digger right? Didn’t bother to really learn about her. What love is he talking about?
Also creepy laying next to dead body.
Glad her family got their comeuppance too.

Morgan is finding reasons, rationalizing to ease his guilt for his despicable behaviour towards Leona. But what good will it bring him? Leona is gone. Just suffer, Morgan. Suffer the consequences of your actions.

    • @emperorpalpatine2957
      @emperorpalpatine2957 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

His punishment is no longer being able to see her and no longer receiving her love. Additionally, He was the one who discovered her dead body alongside the apartment staff. The trauma of seeing what he and her family drove her to do is good enough punishment. And now he'll live the rest of his life in misery and regret.

What is this ? Morgan tried to find excuses for what he did to his wife before her death ? He is truly despicable. Because if you have feelings for someone, even if you don't show your emotions, still you can show concern or take care of her in different ways. But he always behaved coldly with her, without any explanation. And why did he call her foolish ? 😡 😡 He was foolish, not she. 😡 😡 She was right when she said that it was too late to get back. She suffered for five years😢 and he never cared for her. He just cared for Denise's reputation, not what his wife would feel ! 😢😢 All of his arguments were rubbish and didn't make any sense. 😡 And why should she give her life for such people? She could rent her apartment and shift to another country to start anew. There are so many people living alone on this planet and maybe you could find your match somewhere ! 😢😢
It was so heart-wrenching and made you cry more and more. I cried too. 😢😢
    Thanks for the story. 👍👍❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Exactly. His behaviour after her death doesn’t make sense.. it’s extreme. Even when she miscarried the reaction was so cold that was also a life lost.. if he had even 20% of the affection he showed after her death he would have stayed with her after the miscarriage instead of thinking of a project 😅 if there was a ML POV it would be good .. cause from the story I couldn’t understand the reason for this extreme shift

  • @SpicyJamCam

This is sad. Totally understand where FL is coming from. Years of mistreatment can’t be forgiven with just a few days of sadness. If she was still alive her life would still have been miserable as her family was still crap and her ex still wouldn’t have learned to treat her properly. Her wanting a new start is totally realistic, she never saw any kindness in her last life so why would she have expectations they would treat her proper? They say death is too late to regret.

I want a part 2 of her next life. I guess her 2 babies were quickly reincarnated? Also hoped the ghost sister would reincarnate with her as a sister, friend or her child. The story feels incomplete and I want more. That’s how much I actually liked it. Thanks for these stories ❤

I liked the story 😊 😺 I would've liked to have read the POV of the Male character (Morgan) about how he felt and what he thinks about everyone as he does the things he does after discovering his dead wife in the bathroom. Can you make those from now on? Please? Those are always the best ones to read and listen to, even ones where the handsome good guy wins the girl and they move on to have a happy married life together after he punishes his cold-hearted rival for having treated her so badly and karma finally gets him for his actions and he ends up regretting everything, even after the damage was already done and it's too late to fix anything. Thanks so much. 😊

Funny how he has a hard time expressing his feelings but when it came to the other chick he had no problem treating her with such care and devotion. Nah I don’t believe him for one second. How can you treat someone better than your own wife and still claim that you love her. Morgan is just upset that he no longer has someone that can take of him like his mommy.

EDIT: I was commenting and editing as the story unfolded which means, my comment turned out a little long. 😅
    Apologies
…. they found her which means her body was taken by the medical examiner which means her body is now in the morgue- every time I listen to this story I question, HOW are they going to bring her back to life?
The Reaper, the Ghost Sister are all acting like she has the option to go back to her body, how can she when her body is now in the morgue?! 😅
IF she actually chose to go back, how can she even explain coming back to life!?
It would’ve been 30-day(s) after her “death”, what body would she go back to?
Now, I’m curious about that outcome and how the writer would’ve explained it. lol
Also, Morgan reason(s) for ignoring Leona are whacked- he was cold and indifferent to Leona for five year(s); prior to her miscarriage he specifically told her to pretend that they have no relationship, to act as if they don’t know each other which played a huge role in her decision to not accept his assistant-driver offer to ride with them that night (his cold gaze when his assistant asked her also played a role)- how could co-worker(s) judge Leona when her miscarriage didn’t even happen yet!?! He didn’t want anyone knowing their relationship because of Denise, because the public already believed he was in a relationship with her… he was thinking of Denise well-being and image not Leona well-being or image.
Morgan asking “Leona, how can you be so foolish?” followed by stating “Denise and I isn’t what you think!”
What of type of Husband runs out of the shower-bathroom in nothing but a towel when their Wife answers their phone when it “isn’t what you think”? What Husband gets upset at their Wife for not only answering the phone but also gets upset because she questioned the woman on the other end when it “isn’t what you think”… IF the Husband didn’t have feelings for another woman he wouldn’t of rushed out or been upset.
He gave all his warmth to another woman, lead this other woman on, talk crap about his Wife to this other woman and gets mad that she reached out to his Wife… dude, it’s your fault.
Leona isn’t “foolish”, she had a front row seat in experiencing your love and care for another woman, experiencing your cold and indifference attitude towards her for five year(s).
He entered the marriage with this horrible perspective of Leona whereas Leona entered it planning on giving her all, he never gave Leona a chance and only started to realize that Leona was just a victim in all this after she died, that he played a part in it.

I wouldn’t put it all on the husband. Her trauma started long before him. When he met her she was already like that. How would he not think that she doesn’t love him when she keeps asking for money. She didn’t put boundaries between her maternal family and her own family. In the end it was her maternal family’s indifference to her that killed her. She was having a hard time, but all they thought about was money. If they hadn’t been so greedy. She would have had a better relationship with her husband.

Excellent story. Found myself vacillating between wanting her to remain dead or return to life. In the end, understood her choice. There was really no one to return to. Her ex wasn't worthy (regardless of his belated confession and retaliatory actions on her behalf) and she had no family or friends.

I kinda understand the story, one need to give full liberty to the author to write the story as they want. If all the story has the similar plot all the stories would end up being same. Even though as a viewer, even If i preferred the FL to return back in time, or have another chance with her husband. I don't think she'll able to punish all ( even her family) who wronged her.
Over here I can sympatize with both the main leads. FL is heartbroken, firstly from her family's bias treatment, her siblings who failed to protect her and thirdly her own husband who didn't consider her feelings.
Whereas in ML he is someone who can't express his own emotions and prefers to not discuss things (his thinking why to reopen the wound). He was loyal towards his wife and clearly rejecting the ex , Only thing he lacked was emotions.
I can see why you wanted a emotional less soul who cant even accept her husband's grief, because even after death she is tired. Tired to go through everything once again. Tired to love again. Tired to reconcile and wish him best.
Another great story from your author

I want to see a story where the female protagonist and the male lead actually fix a misunderstanding. I feel like I already know what will happen in your stories because it’s so cliché. The two lovers will never try to communicate. And for some reason it’s always the guy that ends up with the worst ending. You could have written a male lead redemption arc by putting her in a coma. Instead the male leads efforts fell completely pointless.

It all started with greedy parents and adult children who LET themselves be their puppets. Its amazing that he slept with a girl he disliked so much. And she slept with him, the one who disrespected her during every encounter. They both never developed dignity bc of their upbringing. Realising all of that after death is meaningless but it is fantasy so they both enter new lives, remembering their old lives I hope.

To everyone unhappy with the way it ended... (spoilers do not read before finishing the book.)
She was mistreated basically her whole life by her family and treated like an afterthought not even receiving partial financial help from her family to the point of getting blood tested at 18 to see if they were her real family. Unfortunately they truly were blood related.
Then she suddenly gets a chance to escape thet family. Her mother in law is super nice to her. Sure her husband doesn’t want the marriage, but she thinks they can work together to make it work. Until she finds out about his first love, and he never clarifies it, leaving her alone for a YEAR, while he hangs out with his first love. During that time her parents practically brain wash her to not make him unhappy or hell stop helping them financially. This happens to the point that She automatically apologizes if he just furrows his brows.
This hould have been a warning of some soret, a sign maybe that something was off with her mental state, that maybe just maybe she wasnt a money grubbing selfish person, because only those who have been abused in some way act like that.
his mother was dying and wanted a grandkid, they do the deed. She gets pregnant after her nice mother in law dies. But because the way he treats her, she doesn't take the ride offered from his assistant( not him, his assistant, he just glares at her when the ride was offered.) So she miscarries because she didn’t even know she was pregnant.
Does he comfort her even a tiny bit or explain his disappearance? No.
Then first love says shes coming back, and so far NOTHING in her life so far has happened that makes her think that he won't kick her out.
So she divorces him he doesn't argue, then he rapes her.... part one

    • @aprilanaya2694
      @aprilanaya2694 หลายเดือนก่อน

Part two... Then she tries to go to her family, and they kick her out. They are just upset thet their money tree might be cut off and do not give a sh*t about her feelings once again making her even more depressed. If her mother in law had not had the foresight to get her a place to live on her own that was just hers, she would have been out on the street with nowhere to go, and would have died anyway.
She did not know what receiving love was like, and probably had no confidence that she could give live to her child. Her husband had not instilled any hope of belief that he could love the baby that resulted from SA either. After all he did not show her that he cared about their first child, why would he care about this one. Also she didn't know she was pregnant before killing herself. The deed had already been done.
And she's right his actions after she died do not mean anything after she was already gone.
When she suggested divorce, why didn't he try to communicate then, or try to figure out what was going on with her.
(Also forgot to mention making her quit her job after she had the miscarriage only served to further isolate her causing her depression to worsen. )

If I was the grim reaper I would give her what she wants and send her to a new family but I would also send her to a worser family than she already had, it's completely understandable that she did not want to have anything to do with her family again and didn't want to have anything to do with her husband again, but she couldn't at least live to raise her own child so it can live, it's quite clear in the end she developed her parents worst traits cuz in the end she didn't give two shit about her child, knowing that she didn't just take her life she took her child's life too and not even giving it a chance to live, she said she wants to be reborn into a new family and she actually could have had a family giving her child the love and care and affection that she was never given by her own family, I understand she didn't want to live because of her unrequited love by her husband or at least she thought he didn't feel the same way, and not receiving love and affection from her own family but she could have just cut them out of her life and went on by her business and raised her child on her and it could have gave her the love and affection that she never received from her own family, but in the end she still rather have died and let the child died in her wound, instead she said she want to be born into a new family, if I was a reaper I would put her with a worser family and hope she makes smarter decisions the next life, she had a chance to live and give her child the love and affection that she's so desperately craved, I can see that she clearly don't want to be the one just giving her she wants to be loved and I think if she kept the child she probably would have received that from her own child in the end, I do not reverse stupidity and stubbornness is clear that her relationship with her husband was due to poor communication skills and they let their pride in their dignity get in the way and I think they could have actually had a happy marriage if they just didn't let their prize blind them so much.

She probably thought she was doing the child a favor thinking it would have a horribly life and wish it was never born too eventually after too much suffering and that’s also selfish to have a child expecting love in return just for having it, a child will be there own person. In this way ending its life before it can even begin to feel or understand anything it can have a better chance the next time around with someone else maybe.
& I’m guessing FL doesn’t even know how to love with the way she never received it who knows if she would’ve been a good mom and then her family would’ve sucked and the husband doesn’t know jack about love either.

🫤Sorry I'm about to rant, but I hope you take it as constructive criticism (if you wrote the story yourself). But the story was building up nicely, only to get a bland ending☹️. It wasn't satisfying because she remained bitter, heartbroken, & literally physically & spiritually broken (I only liked the trash families downfall👍🏼👍🏼👏🏻👏🏻).
Unlike the husband, She didn't have any character development. Aside from becoming an emotionless & sardonic being, that didn't care or strive for anything (not even at the thought of a 2nd life. Because she bitterly took the grim reapers wishes of her finding happiness, as a meh joke😕) . Her character regressed instead of showing any sign of growth. She didn't learn anything, because (although understandable)she angrily categorized ALL of the husbands actions as hypocritical & insincere . Even chuckling at his attempt to KILL HIMSELF, over the clear guilt & pain that he felt. I mean, I get her resentment & anger. But she saw how badly he was taking her death, & that many things were simple misunderstandings. That could've been resolved, if they BOTH weren't socially retarded.
Yeah he was an asshole to her, that failed to explain himself, & verbally thank her for her care & love...WHILE SHE WAS STILL ALIVE. But She saw that he wasn't a bad guy, & how he sincerely repented for the bad things he did to her. Yet she still felt nothing but ruthless & condescending mirth, when she was told the news of his attempt to unalive himself. He did it because of the immense guilt & REGRET that he felt, & his DESIRE to see & apologize to her. He felt life was POINTLESS without her, & developed SEVERE DEPRESSION. But she just saw his attempt & feelings comical & hypocritical. Even though SHE took her life for practically the same reasons. Except for her, it was because of the REGRETS of haven lived a crappy life, the poor choices she made for herself by allowing others dictate HER life, & because developed SEVERE DEPRESSION & found life POINTLESS
To be fair, he wasn't the only one at fault, because she wasn't
talkative either & only developed a backbone AFTER death😪. She NEVER stood up for herself, & MEEKLY took every punch thrown at her😑🤦🏻‍♀️. She accepted being pitiful & weak, & did things the hard way because she never allowed herself to view other roads she COULD'VE taken. She also didn't have ANY confidence in herself, & had a victim complex. She allowed HERSELF to be victimized though.....soooo🤷🏻‍♀️
Girly even scuffed at the grim reaper's comment about "having a happy life" in her next life🤨. She doesn't even feel deserving of being loved, or having a man that treasures her, because SHE HAD NO FEELINGS (she was just figuratively & literally DEAD). The ending felt flat, & boring. I really wanted to hate the husband & get some satisfaction out of his misery. BUT because it was all just one misunderstanding after another, his ending felt.... wrong & unfulfilling. He's not a bad guy, just socially retarded & prideful (like the main character).
If she had used the backbone she developed after her death, & taken the risk to go back, & change her fate. She could've gotten a semblance of happiness, & revenge. She would've known what unconditional love felt like, by becoming a mother. She could've lived happily with her child, even if she had decided to not forgive the husband.
😪 It's a good story that has a lot of potential, & would be good to continue the story in their second life. Where they both keep the memories of the past life, & find happiness & forgiveness (because he has potential for redemption). up my own ending in my mind. Where she chooses to go back because she wants to stop feeling sorry for herself, abandon's all the bitterness & resentments in order to live happily with her child, learns to ADVOCATE FOR HERSELF & not stay meek & quiet, & gains enough Confidence in herself to FIGHT BACK & stand tall (Even if she has to do it on her own). The husband retains the memories, & starts his path towards redemption beginning with apologizing & A LOT OF GROVELING 😄.

Yeah but as she said a broken mirror can't be fixed. Every single person in her life has disappointed a abused her. So much to the point of her ending her life. When you have been emotionally abused for a long time it is hard to heal from that. She has been conditioned to believe her life is meaningless and she truely believes this. The ML having regrets doesn't change his actions. He was probably the only one that could of saved her but his neglect (which is also q form of emotional abuse) finally push her iver the edge. Any sain woman would never trust a guy like Morgan again after over 5 years of mistreatment. He can give excuses for his actions all he wants, it does negate this actions during their marriage.

I'm neutral and as a person who love to read in all my 50+yrs (love good plots, not nonsensical story plots), i will not defend any chraacter here. Like you said, if she could have fought for herself, then why on earth is this ex-husband who never had anything life-scarring experiences didn't do or say anything when she was alive and could have had a great life together? Yes, she didnt fight, but so did he. And if you look at it from a neutral's point of view, like you said she became determined AFTER death and only because she finally found a sense of security that she gained freedom finally and won't ever have to experience those things again. The ex-husband only started acting after she was gone. Between a person who was molded and shaped and traumatized all her life since at her early age, she was already broken as a child, which small kid could actually stand up to themselves or realize that "hey this isn't right i refuse and fight them off"? From an early age, i remind you, with no one telling her that she isn't trash like they make her beleived to be, thus little child grows up thinking (still no one telling her they're wrong and she is loved) she is indeed useless. Depression hit her hard.
Everyone who has depression either get proper treatment or when they cannot they end themselves. And even those who get treatment aren't even conpletely cured from and still take medication, and some of those who can stop the medication because they slightly improved doesn't rule out the trigger/s for their depression to suddenly come back when faced w/ certain circumstances. This is how people w/ depressions and traumas are in real life.
Going back to the story, she did finally stand up for herself taking the opportunity of the past lover showing up and paying her money to leave. She was going away and going to live a little better life after that.
Yet again, her family is the very trigger for her depression and... well... you know, triggered her again. She was cruelly plunged into an emotional abyss yet again since they already broke her. She was already broken early in her younger years, ok? W/ no help for healing until present. Of course she wouldn't let go of death. Letting go of death would mean her feeling scared and being thrown back for more abuse. She was tired and finally felt safe for the 1st time, away from the cruelty of people. It's understandable. You can't say she didn't try because her family broke her already into accepting that she has no human rights that it never occured to her she can decide for herself and do as she pleased. "Oh hey, i can fight for myself? I can do that?? A trash like me can fight for myself? But i'm trash and trash don't have rights" is how it is. Yet again, SHE DID REALIZE IT which is a great improvement, in my opinion. It's just sad that her family triggered despair on the spot when she taught she was going to be free.
      About the guy...
      . . . . . . Hhmmm. . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I get it, i really do. And yet i don't. This high praise you give him about fixing things... It was really too late. I get it he doesn't know how to communicate properly, but see here, what CEO is too dumb to know how to talk to people and still be successful? Does that make sense? How are you going to negotiate and be successful if you can't please your clients? Even if it's in business-like form, he didn't even dare try. He is talking about expressing himself through words, he failed on that part. But he's a CEO, he knows better actions speak louder than words -- the end results in business dealings are always what matters. It's always the final outcome.
He never expressed himself in a goodway through actions, too. It's like you forgot FL's side of the story about him when he started explaining his side. Be on the neutral side and think both sides of the story on a specific incident. He said he didn't give her ride home because she said she would go w/ colleagues. Earlier than that, he was the one who damn told her in that resort that they should act like they have no relation to each other. She was doing what he told her to do. Does it make sense, "hey wife, scram, dont you dare let others know" then wife goes "ok. I will do my best to make sure nobody finds out" then pouring rain w/ an obvious displaesed look "i'll send you home" and wife goes "sure! I'll causually get in the the CEO's car like it's a normal thing to do, alone w/o anyone else i know, getting a special treatment from you, yep, nobody would find out we're related"?? Absolutely no, it doesn't make sense. So i don't get it when he tries to justify himself. When he said he can't express himself right through words, ok. But he expressed through actions as well. He never failed to show her he was always displeased about something that of course FL who has inferiority mindset that thinks she is a useless worm would think it is her as he always shows it to her when they see each other. He has an excuse for words, but not for his actions. The most pleasing conversation they have is him being respectful but distant.
If you are comparing who did less, between a broken person who already believes she isn't even human anymore and lower than a worm or dirt, and a perfectly healthy person who has no turmiol in his life:
The ex-husband who is more capable of being human failed harder than the ex-wife who doesn't even know she even had self-worth and broken. 😅
But i do agree that every character has their own faults, othrwise there won't be a story, no? 😊
It's just that the ex-husband failed more, if we are talking about the characters in this story's capability to change thier lives. It's normal for the FL to have a "meh" reaction even about the new reborn life 'cause her feelings at the moment is she is just tired, she doesn't expect good life even if she wishes it 'cause she has never known a happy life, so she doesn't what to expect. It's actually good that she doesn't start feeling too excited 'cause if she gets disappointed again it will hit her hard. That is a normal response from someone who went through depression, they don't expect it to be happy as a rainbow-filled life like how others tell them, but they do wish a little bit better life than the current one. Or in this story, her last one.

I've finished the story. I still don't understand the hate. Was he supposed to be perfect? Were those crocodile tears and confessions supposed to have no audience? She's at fault for not resisting except the sa and divorce. I heard nothing of her sharing her emotions, but being apologetic and accommodating. That's reflective of love, but a lot of her resentment were misunderstandings. At the end, it tells he had connections with her entire family and knew they were all money grubbing. It justifies all his mockery of her.
Overall, no one was fulfilling their responsibilities or displaying what is needed for love.
I think everyone treating her "neglectful" husband of 7 years where there were no initial love, worse than her full lifetime of "abuse" by her family are stupid.
I'll argue with anyone who replies based on just the previous sentence.

“it justifies his mockery of her” he knew his mom arranged this marriage for them. he knew it was an arranged marriage and that she had no choice in it either and still chose to treat her coldly and cheat on her (emotionally, at the very least) and didn’t even stop to think about the possibility that her parents were horrible and using her to use him. on top of that, he got drunk and raped her. placing all the blame on her is crazy considering he had just as much (if not more) blame for their unhappy marriage.
