    Great video again Konglo! I'd say the game is F2P Friendly, but if someone is wanting to spend money, the Advanced Pass ($20) + Monthly Pass ($5) is the only real thing people should spend on per month. You get a lot of pulls and resources through just those things alone.

      Yeah and new characters is pretty strong for current endgame weekly/monthly content with 1☆ or 0☆ so even 5$ monthly pass might be enough to get every single new character at 0☆-1☆ every banner if you collect all free stuff and play through all new content, as for me it was enough to even get some skins, but its just being lucky i guess, i would say also most of the weapons dont need full ☆ upgrade if you care about your money, most of those will get to standart and you can max it out for free which can help you even more with endgame content, some old maxed weapons is stronger still than new ones with 1☆-3☆ and alot of useless in past weapons can start being strong for some while in pair with new weapons so there is alot for you to mix and try as f2p, for people who spend money its limited to new only weapons which as for me its not as fun overall, but also to that there is content that might be easier to do with old weapons because of some mechanics, so for long term game is kind of getting hard with all of that, without lots of weapons, even counting old ones into it as well, not just new ones

    Been playing ToF since launch.It's decent for F2P as long as it's like your third or fourth game. I enjoy it for the exploration, story and events. I pull for 1 element, and enjoy the game casually on Dimension Level 10. I don't worry about leaderboards, PvP, feeling "strong" or FoMo. There's a lot of content to explore since it's been almost 3 years since it was released in China.

    yeah it's F2P friendly if you spend wisely.
    I have been F2P for 2 years and you didn't need to spend the game for enjoyment. My character strength right now is almost as strong to Dolphins by now

    Yes, good for f2p, especially if you're a casual player and don't care about leader boards. Guaranteed SSR (5 star) every 80 pulls. Though not guaranteed to get the limited SSR in the 80th pull, you can be guaranteed at around 120 pulls (via shop). In other games, you need around 180 pulls to be guaranteed on getting the limited SSR. China is updated 1 month earlier than Global so news on next banners are reliable and we can save early for the SSRs we want (if there are leaks from China, we can save even earlier)

    Day 1 player here! I'd say it's quite F2P friendly, if you are mindful of your resources and spend them wisely. But you need to choose what kind of player you want to be early on, and be consistant with that decision. If you just wanna chill and collect characters/skins that's great, but you can't expect to do substantial damage, and shouldn't get frustrated when you see what others' accounts can do in combat. And it's the same viceversa, if you wanna sweat and try to maximize your dmg you absolutely can, but you gotta choose an element and stick to it (except for altered, everyone should get those); you also can't be going around spending your resources on skins and mounts, cause when your elemental banner comes around you will not have enough to pull (we're not talking a0-a1 + no matrices, clearly).
    I was 100% F2P for the first year, and I've been getting the battle pass + monthly supply for the last year. Is it absolutely necessary to get them in order to progress? no, but it sure is nice to have more resources, of course. My dmg has gone up significantly, as has my standing on leaderboards. You don't have to whale to get results (I don't, and my account is solid), but you do have to make smart choices that align with your goals, as well as sweat and grind for every free available resource. Otherwise, $25 a month isn't gonna get you very far.

    The 5$ daily 100 dark crystal for 30 days pack makes the F2P so much more fun because you can skip some of the tedious stuff you need to do otherwise to get what you want over time. My time is more worth than 5$ so I choose to pay for this one. So I can get what I want even some great outfits without having to waste my time on things I don't want to do just to stay F2P...

      I am unsure if I would consider $5 a month ($60 a year) F2P. That was the price of a Runescape subscription before they bundled old school into it. However it definitely makes the game more enjoyable if you don't enjoy the exploration content.

      @@KonglomeratYT I like to get outfits like swimsuits or some of the unique mounts which is hard/impossible to get as F2P only if you are also interested in getting some new weapons. Unlike in most other Gatcha's in ToF you can customize outfits, apearance and colors to a great extend which is quite fun for me.

    Was leveling your weapon and 3 staring 1 of them required for the story/over world?
    And you should do a review of the tof story since it seems this is the only thing you actually engaged with in a meaningful way

    • @Audibleknight
      @Audibleknight หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Leveling your weapon is required since like leveling your character it doesn't require rare resources. You'll naturally max out your purple weapons' stars (which aren't used past the beginning of the game), and getting multiple stars for limited (gold) weapons isn't necessary. You'll want to eventually invest in newer weapons that have been recently released as they are stronger than older ones.

    • @KonglomeratYT
      @KonglomeratYT  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For story/overworld nothing is really required. So long as you never raise dimension level then you will get through even as the worst player imaginable.
      As for story, it is actually a tiny fraction of what I have done. I've mostly done overworld exploration content and repeating dailies/weeklies MMO content and endgame trials. There is not enough story to rival those portions of the game =P. I will think on that idea, though.

    started playing in Jun-2024. the game is buggy, the story sucks, the power creep is awful and the player base is kinda small (I am on the SE Asia server)...but somehow I am still enjoying it after 5 months of gameplay. I don't even know why

    Thank you for the video. I quit ToF very early in the game and recently tried to come back but I find now what I found back then, I just don't like the combat and controls.
