Okay, this made me think of a fanfic concept. I might write it, idk.
Anyways!
The end made me come up with a story idea and heres the quick fire summary! :
Casey tells Leo that he saw Future Leo as a sorta father figure. This makes him feel like he needs to step into the shoes of future him, to help and guide Casey, to make every right decision possible. When this leads to hesitation out of fear of making the wrong one, and this hesitation causing Leo to be hurt.. they have a talk.
Yeah, ill write this eventually but this is a cool story thing and i think youd probably like to know that your vid inspired it ^^
