i love the fact that the game (for me) captures the same felling you got when sword fighting with your friends as a child, however this is not a game i would pay for, despite it being a good game it wouldn't be my first choice

I'd love to see Spartans, but a lot of people have already requested that. So I think we'll eventually see them added to the game. Imagine a Spartan hero with an execution that finishes with a sparta kick! xD I'd really love to see a Maori warrior though, with a Haka you can do as an emote before entering battle. 😱😱
Number 60 needs some more explanation. When your enemy attacks, there are two indicators that will flash. The first indicator is "the attack is coming from this direction.". That first initial glow you see. After that, just before the attack hits, there will be a second flash. That second flash is "the attack is about to land". THAT is your parry window. It's a fraction of a second long, and the nuance is incredibly small but it is definitely there.
Actually ‘Field Warrior’ WOULD be talking about a peaceful field, as Nobushi warriors were typically protectors of villages/shrines/farms. They were generally protectors of the people.

there are a couple mistakes, but no.53 stands out. reputation levels don't give you increased stats inherently. Being a higher reputation doesn't give you a technical edge over people who have just started when comparing base stats
Ninja and Spartans would be a nice entry. I'd also like to see a tier system, not reputation, that evolves your respective faction hero list into a better version of itself. ( i.e Knights turn into Crusaders, Samurai into shogun, etc )
the mordhouw/murderstroke is not that dangerous for the fingers, if done correctly. You place the palm of your hands on the flat of the sword and then place your fingers on the other side, without touching te egde
If the guy actually had proper lessons in swordfighting, the mechanics of the game would be nowhere near as fucked up as they are now. Then again - if the combat were completely realistic, no one would be able to keep up with the speed of the game anymore.
if the combat was realistic, everyone would play knights because the other two factions (besides maybe vikings and only the shugoki) wouldn't be able to hurt you

*WELL* Knights vs. Vikings DID happen when the Saxons essientially booted the Danes out of Britannia over a thousand years ago. There's a badass historical fiction series of books around this called Saxon Tales by Bernard Cornwell, he takes the real life events and writes a narrative around the history.
