If you’re a lover of Tango dancing, then you’ll know that “Tango in Paradise”, the annual Tango spectacular staged in Bali, is probably the most important and prestigious event in the Tango year. This year “Tango in Paradise” really has sparked fever pitch conversations quite literally around the world.
“Tango in Paradise” is now in its eighth year and this year’s event already has the elements to make it the most successful yet. Many of the world’s most admired Tango Maestros will be flying in to Bali for the Tango world’s hottest event, running from November 21-24th 2019.
Amongst some of the glittering names in Tango participating in TIP 2019 are Gabriel Ponce and Analia Morales, Gaspar Godoy and Carla Mazollini, Fernando Carrasco and Alejandra Mantinan. Making a very special appearance will also be the “Femme Fatale” of Tango - Marcella Duran, and the world Tango Pista Champions of 2019 - Maxim Gerasimov and Agustina Piaggio who will be dancers of honour.
And the star studded line up doesn’t end there. Invited for the first time to perform at TIP 2019 are “Tango En Vivo” - world famous Tango musicians from Russia. The celebrated Tango singer - Hyun Wook from South Korea will also be performing with them.
And just when you thought the line-up couldn’t possibly contain any more Tango lumineries, famous International Tango DJ’s - Shinji Ii (Japan), Odeyssus Dada (South Korea), Gennysam Alcantara (Singapore), Alice (Vietnam), Anthony Miller (Australia) and Agoez De Zell (Indonesia) will be heating up the dance floor to fever pitch to the delight of tango lovers, expressing their passion for their adored dance genre.
Tango in Paradise is now well established and recognised as one of the most prestigious and unique tango festivals in the world by all tango lovers.
Tango in Paradise is a cross mix of culture and tradition, enhancing two beautiful countries - Indonesia and Argentina.
As a tango dancer, it’s my passion to dance with a strong Indonesian influence, either in the fashion aspect or in the traditional rhythm. The coming together of those passions makes TIP a very happy, emotional and beautiful event.
This year, TIP 2019 will also be raising funds for one of Bali’s most respected and deserving causes - Bali Children Foundation - the organisation founded by Dame Margaret Barry. BCF provides “A pathway through Education to Employment” for literally hundreds of disadvantaged children from many of Bali’s poorest, more remote villages in areas often overlooked by tourists”.
“Let Tango unite us and be the magic that brings beauty to our world”.
