I operated most of the rides at Chessington before Jumanji and during Rameses' time - I can say by far the worst ride to operate on park was TreeTop hoppers - the compressors were old and knackered meaning more than one adult or someone heavier and it would refuse to send, and it was a solo operator ride so you had to deal with everything yourself. Then followed by Jungle Bus in the summer - the Operator cabin was like a greenhouse and you didn't even get a fan but was an otherwise very reliable ride. Rameses Revenge may she rest in peace; was extremely troublesome - I called her the Katie Hopkins of Rides because she hated overweight people, though it was anyone with a belly and broad shoulders, they would cause the restraint safety system to trip thinking the restraint wasn't properly secured (even though it was) so if you've been to CWoAR a lot during Rameses' time you've probably seen it fail a bunch with heavier guests being asked to disembark after the ride had "technical difficulties" ... I miss that ride. She screamed louder than the guests as she cycled.
Vampire for nostalgia, tied between mandrill mayhem and dragon’s fury for thrill, obviously mandrill mayhem for theming, river rafts for being wet the whole day, even in Arizona weather.
I think that the two worst decisions they made was hocus pocus hall and bubble works getting removed. Also, I think vampire is just riding on nostalgia, don't get me wrong, its an amazing coaster due to theming and it genuinely being a rite of passage when you were younger, but I think if it was retracked or given the world famous "Merlin Reborn" treatment it could really bring Chessington back on the world map. I just feel that Chessington is a bit lacking right now.
