nesta has always been my favourite lmao 😭 and then i read acosf and i loved her even more cause i related to her and her story so much. she’s by far sjm’s most well written character and i stand by that…she is mother 🛐
Totally agree with you about Nesta. I was so curious and mad about her at the same time until the third book, when I started to actually like her. So then when I read ACOSF I couldn't hate her, she's one of the most realistic characters I've ever read in my life. Loved the video sm!!
I love her so much! I knew her character had to have more depth and so glad SJM made a book just for her! And glad you enjoyed the video thank you so much💕
the six of crows duology is the best!! i’d read it maybe 2-3 times now. i found that i liked it better than the shadow and bones trilogy, but i can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it too!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the six of crows duology!! they are my fav books ever!! Also I have never read ACOTAR and feel like I'm missing out now, i might just have to pick it up soon
Hi, Layna! If you haven't yet, please read Once Upon A Broken Heart and The Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber. Such good plot and world building I love it so much 😭 The third book, A Curse for True Love, comes out on October 24!
@@laynaturgeon just a note that it’s not necessary for you to read the caraval trilogy to read OUABH. They do belong in the same world and have mentions of some characters but it doesn’t affect your reading experience! Hope you get to read OUABH and TBONA soon and enjoy the story! 💛
Everyone has different taste in books so that's completely valid! I just love the characters so much that I feel like that is what has made me love the entire series so much😊
Yes I believe the correct order is the Shadow and Bones Trilogy and THEN the Six of Crows, but I read Six of Crows first without knowing, there is bit of spoiler in six of crows about the trilogy. I'm still going to read shadow and bone series too though!!😊
@@laynaturgeon If it is not that big of a spoiler then I can probably start with Six of Crows. But I heard that Shadow and Bones is pretty generic and may not be as exciting so that makes me want to just get through them so I can get them out of the way. Also, what made you get into annotating? And do you have a system that you follow?
@@gethighfly yea I'm not sure if I will love shadow and bone as much as six of crows but definitely interested in getting to see the entire grishaverse! As for annotating, I honestly was just reading Normal People by Sally Rooney I just found myself wanting to underline and highlight stuff so I could go back and reread them! And from then on if I find myself wanting to underline things I just go and grab some post its right away for the book! I don't have a specific system mostly different colours for characters and different types of scenes!😄😄
@@laynaturgeon Yeah I will probably start with S&B just to get them out of the way. Have you watched the Netflix show? Normal People was a good read. I highly recommend the Hulu series if you haven't seen it already. Maybe you can make a video showing your annotations? Also thoughts on Sarah J Maas?
