watching cheese in the trap the second time during covid really changed my view on yoo jung. he isn’t really the psychopath everyone sees him as. he just has different ways of protecting what he loves and how he expresses his emotions. from a young age, he’s taught to hide and suppress intense emotions. so he lets them out without directly revealing his anger, sadness and frustration; he believes physical outputs of emotion will turn everyone away. in the beginning, he is attached to hong seol bc he believes she is similar to him. yet as time goes, he learns she is different. but even after this realisation, hong seol does not leave him. from this special relationship between the two lovelies, he learns that differences will occur but they don’t always have to be a reason to his broken relationships as the drama closes, jung’s father lightly brushes away seol’s accident with money. he has no consideration for jung’s feelings. he steps on jung’s emotions without a second thought. through this, jung begins to fear his parallel personality with his father’s and realises the same pain he has inflicted on others around him. yes thank you i wrote a fucking essay about this
same thoughts also i just cant bring myself to ship In-Ho to Seol. Sure, his morals are better compared to Jeong but i do find him annoying at times.. Like how he shattered the dreams of In-Ha, hes insensitive with his words, him backstabbing Jeong that led to Jeong not trusting anyone anymore, it became hard for Jeong to know whos fake and whos not, now he had major trust issues that made him more lonely and cold. I think he likes In-Ho as a friend or even a brother, he trusted him but In-Ho backstabbing him really broke Jeong's heart. Yet In-Ho blames it all on Jeong.. I know we cant justify what Jeong did to In-Ho's hand, i think Jeong didnt expect that at all to happen, he could have help In-Ho when they are beating him tho. Atleast in the end, they both realized the consequences of their actions. What makes me like this kdrama is that it makes you think a lot. Esp how Jeong do this and that. Your moral compass is being challenged. His very flawed character made me glued to the show
People say the second lead syndrome was bad in this one, but I never had that problem. I love them to pieces, I am midway through the series and I've heard it has an open ending? It's cool, I can imagine them getting back together. And as long as I can imagine that, I am happy.
Tbh I loved this couple but honestly his character was whack as in he wasn’t really a good person so I get why people had the second lead syndrome because the second lead was a decent guy
This drama needs , I need a season 2. The beginning of the drama we see well that Jung et Seol met at the restaurant then there was the flashback to put us in context . So I don’t understand why he’s giving us an ending like this, so... It is an end, an unfinished story (even if we see that at the end Jung opened the mails of Seol ) but still no . I expected more 😭😭 It frustrates me that it ends like this because I have attached myself to the character of Jung and is I would have liked to see how it works on be even that led to him. He has time remembered in silence. He kept all those emotions and feelings to himself without anyone realizing that in fact he wasn’t mean and devious as he looks but it’s just that he was hurt and we didn’t try to understand him or even reassure him.
Maybe reading the Webtoon the drama is based on helps? It is not an easy read but explaines it all an there are a lot more details than in the drama :)
I didn't like Jung much at the beginning but then I changed my mind. Objectively, when it comes to taking revenge, his techniques are not even close to Yanxi (a queen of a Chinese emperor) but everyone loves Yanxi. ...I think Yoo Jung is alright if you can understand how he's taught to suppress his feelings since he was a kid. Overall he's a good person. An authentic type of person.
The song fits perfectly with the drama... I really like this drama. A drama that invites us to explore, that everyone has problems, has a side that we must understand.
I loved this series so much. Park Hae Jin did an incredible job with a complex character, and the whole cast was stunning. College scenarios were true to life and relatable yet dramatized enough to make me laugh out loud. CitT broke my heart but its worth it.💘
They are incredibly beautiful🧡Their relationship makes my heart warmer, more soulful, more unprejudiced🧡The true love between them captivates me🦋Thanks for this great edit❣️
I loved this show ❤️ this couple was the best💯💯 I didn’t like In Ho because he was too clingy and two faced😕😠 but overshoe show was good 💕👏🏻 I miss this show I haven’t watched it in two years but I watched it again and it was like a whole memory book 😂💯❤️
No se porque pero la cancion, el drama y la pareja queda acordé al video. Ojala hubiera segunda temporada, una lástima que hayan dejado un final tan abierto, solo podremos pensar que ellos de alguna manera volvieron y ella vio su email...

It's pride & prejudice based, isn't it?

Whyyyyyyyyyyyy
Great drama. Horribly disappointing ending. They deserved to have a happy ending, and instead it was the awful step-sister who got a great life.
Still I don't know why he was mean to her at first.. I mean he bullied her? But why?
FUCK IM SINGLE
........
I don't accept the ending.
I dont like this couple. In Ho and Seol is the best ship. 👉🏻👈🏻
