I weirdly hadn’t heard of her when she first came out but as soon as I heard the song Young And Beautiful playing over The Great Gatsby Commercial on DirectTv I fell in love. Lana has a kindred soul. Everyone goes through storms in their lives and has obstacles they have to face. What we learn from these obstacle and how we face these storms are what is important, not the storm itself. Lana is real, more real than most those famous musicians out there. Her humbleness is obvious, she is a sweet and kind; I know she will go far. Those people that try to bring her down will only make her stronger. So keep going Lana, you're a gem in the rough.

Those critics really thought they were being on point with their opinions , little did they know that they just had no taste .
A beautiful person- delicate but strong at the same time. I envy her courage and passion. I'd like to agree and say I think she's just nervous- but I like that about her. That proves to me that she's genuine- that she's not one of the showgirls who's famous because they paid for it. She worked hard to reach her goals and dreams and she's making it. She could be a disgusting sea-monster, but she still has a beautiful voice and a lyrical majesty that she carries with her in every trembling word. Regardless of what she looks like, what she's had done or not, I love her for her music and the morals of her lyrics, not the fact that she may be trying to fit societies idea of perfection- because we're all hypocrites of that in one way or another.
@mollers92 So far, to me, the only thing that suggests (to a miniscule extent) that she may be piggy-backing on her dads success is the film clip for Born To Die- but even still, she has gained tonnes of success through her music as it is; and look at all her other film clips that she compiled herself- showing initiative and definitely not exploiting her family's money. Regardless, she's a great artist in my eyes and no one will ever sway my mind.
