Jack Narloch what does baptized with fire mean?
It means that you get filled with the Holy Spirit and He completely saturates you with Gods love, power and mercy. In his presence you get changed, transformed and commissioned and you start to speak in tongues.
Here is how the early church got filled with the Holy Spirit:
"Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. This was when the Lord healed me from the sickness I was feeling from fear the days leading up to this. And at the end of this worship time is when He told me the guy I wasn't even officially dating yet (and who all the fear was about) was my husband. I didn't believe it then..... but we have been happily married for over a year and a half now! lol
The Lord is SO awesome, and when we truly surrender to Him and seek to honor HIM above all else... He MEETS us powerfully where we are - and changes things. ;)

I used to follow Todd White very closely for several years so I know whereof I speak. I even transcribed several of his sermons for TH-cam and made regular donations to his ministry. He seemed to be living a life true to Jesus Christ- so full of love, kindness and compassion, something often missing from the church today. He seemed to take scripture at face value and often quoted verses, seemingly putting them into practice as well, which I found inspirational. Then I caught a couple of sermons where he was preaching unity with the Catholic church and as I defined above, we ought to have no part with that counterfeit Christian church, beyond exposing them and calling our brothers and sisters to come out of her. We certainly can't be uniting with them. So I decided to do a little more digging into Todd's teaching and ministry. I found a long history of lies (there are many videos available showing where he tells a story one way and then tells it another, with the details changing constantly) and questionable teachings (to depart from God's word is the very definition of a false prophet, since a true prophet speaks only God's word). He paints himself as a modern apostle yet lives a life of luxury and has partnered with very dangerous apostate leaders like Kenneth Copeland and Benny Hinn, who have a laundry list of lukewarm, prosperity preaching, little gods, ecumenical, antichristian teachings- as well as personal lives tainted by grievous sin.
I feel very confident saying by the Spirit in me, by the grace of God who revealed these things to me and in the light of His word, that these are false prophets, wolves in sheep's clothing. They speak and live against scripture whilst profiting richly from their ministries. They masquerade as ministers of righteousness but inwardly they are ravening wolves. I'm not judging them- God's word has done that, their own words/ actions have done that. I'm just sharing the truth with love, as we are called to do.
My dear brothers and sisters, if you have been following Todd or His mentor Dan Mohler, with all love and respect, in Jesus Christ our Lord, I humbly beg you to get before God and reconsider your position. Dig deeper into their teachings, their ministry and shine the light of scripture upon it. Look past the veneer of love and godliness to see the rotten core and equally rotten fruits. They may teach some sound doctrine but it is a sugar coating that conceals much evil. These are dangerous men, leading many of our brothers and sisters into apostasy, into the lake of fire. We ought to have no part with them.

Yeah we got a free will & can forsake God. Satan's heart's ways are all based on rebellion against God by him having his heart turned away from God. Sin is from Satan's heart being in rebellion. When we SiN then, we are turning our heart away from God. So we must Repent from rebellion against God by not willfully wanting to SiN in any area. So if there is no-thing missing within us, why do we "need" to do this "Religious Act" particularly when we are in these Worship Services of being Baptized In Fire? Why are we being encouraged (influenced or even manipulated) to "think" that we need to be baptized in fire, which again places emphasis that something is missing within us and it places emphasis on the idea that God didn't do what he said he finished. Since God said, he has already given us "ALL", spiritual blessings in heavenly places, why are some (not all) but some Leaders promoting this Fire baptism rhetoric? Instead of promoting lack and something is missing, why not announce the finished, completed work that has already taken place "within us". Why not put the emphasis on that? Why not invest more time in teaching, training, explaining this to the people so that they can stop demonstrating lack, but instead demonstrate power, the finished work of Christ? Demonstration of Power is far, far, far more of a draw to the Gospel that promoting "religious rhetoric" that hypes people up emotionally at these Worship Services. >>>>>

hey my lovely friend and sibling!! :) in this video, the "fire" they're talking about is the passion of the unquenchable Holy Spirit-- we are thirsting hearts crying out for His power & presence to crash over His people and light hearts on fire with passion, that they would "burn" for Him. Like when you desire something sooo much, it's like you're just *burning* to have it, and nothing in your way shall stop you. It's like that with God's power just bursting to be made manifest throughout the nations. The baptism part is the image of absolute submersion in God and becoming a new creation! :D And as they worship, they want God to give them what He wants to give them, which is a renewed spirit and mind in the knowledge of Christ and the fullness of our identity. (Todd White talks about the fire in some other videos and it's just liiiiife-changing!!! humbly and greatly recommend!!)
Are you familiar with Hebrews 12:28-29? "Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire". That very last part comes from Deuteronomy 4:24, saying "For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God." He's sooooo jealous for us-- He wants to captivate us, and whatever evil stands in the way, He promises He will incinerate. Cause it dares to block us from God. That ain't happening. God wants His kids back-- that's the whole story. The "baptism of fire" means other things as well, like stepping into the refiner's fire; gold being tested :)
The verse you share is relevant; "He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire" - indeed He will. The chaff is the yucky, bad, perversed stuff in us that Jesus wants none of. It's a promise that He purifies us through and through as we receive His mercy and reckless love for us :)) so yea, I hope that clarifies what it means! btw I don't claim to fully understand the fire.
