I take special liking and immense interest in watching the movement of this lady. I guess she must be a well qualified Building Engineer with special skills in Carpentry, Poultry/Duck farming and a hardworking single lady. I admire her functions in any field in which in India, only men are experienced in such functions. Good show.
You have incredible building skills. You are working very smartly in the design and construction of your bridge. The time, care and resources are well spent, because now you’re building a bridge that is extremely strong and most importantly it will provide you with safety while crossing.
I hope your foundation is strong enough. Perhaps you should have hammered at least some thick iron bars into the river, before concreting the bridge piers over it. I hope it withstands the next flood. Still, great work!
Well done 👍 Now it is going to be really interesting how you pour the concrete into the water and expect it to set rock solid. You may need something like a drum to submerge into the water to help the concrete set hard. Or something like you used to mould the concrete pipes for the water well you dug. Remember those moulds. Make sure to protect against upstream hydraulic scour, swirling currents undercutting bridge piers, that were missing from the bamboo bridge. The absence of this feature was an important feature in the failure of the bamboo bridge as the piers were most likely undercut during flood.

Building bridges with iron, cement, concrete etc., is not an easy task. Further, being a lonely lady doing such a difficult task alone spending such colossal amount of her own, simply unimaginable in India or elsewhere!! Will she be compensated for such a public function by the govt.?

Y la parte de los cimientos tienen qué ojala tener una forma en punta para qué no genere resistencia de las corrientes. Eso y la altura te puede dar la certeza qué no será arrasado
Lady, I like your persistent spirit… pouring everything you have to achieve a goal. The nature of horizontal construction of a long bridge isn’t the same as vertical construction of building structures. You have plenty of physical strength and motivation but lack the basic understanding of science and engineering going against forces of nature that are more powerful than your hands and feet. Please ask a bridge engineer to help you build a sound river crossing structure that can last your life time and beyonds. I know one and hate to see another piggy saving float down the river in the next monsoon season. Your shallow and spaghetti piers will not hold the lateral push of the river, not to mention the monstrous jamming forces of floating debris.
