IMO the final Mecha Sonic fight is actually better than the original. The original is a bit too easy.

How you control tails in the air and in the water?
The "Tails to the rescue" control.
[ Air ]:
1. Press the jump button on the second controller while mid-jump to make 2P Tails fly. Press repeatedly to keep him in flight.
2. Fly toward Sonic, or have him jump on Tails to pick Sonic up.
3. While Sonic is hanging onto Tails, Keep pressing 'jump' on the 2nd controller until you reach a certain high place.
Make sure to master this technique.
[ Water ]:
2P Tails can't lift Sonic while underwater, so here's a way to solve the problem.
1. While Tails is swimming, have Sonic jump on and off him.
2. Keep pressing the jump button on both controllers so Tails can help Sonic reach an underwater high place (as seen at 12:45 - 12:52)

I did find some trouble in this game as I was nowhere a expert but I was pretty good at surviving

But the music was edited mostly for the harder levels. It's SUPPOSED to be like that.

Actually, some damage was taken in this longplay. I don't know why.

Lord Baldur Well, with THESE kind of levels that are chaotic, especially in Hydrocity and Marble Garden, why wouldn't they sound like that? Think about it.

Okay, in all seriousness, there are a few remixed tracks which are passable; Marble Garden Act 1 and Carnival Night Act 2.
the first Sonic 3&K master edition that I played.... but the second one..... Hmmmmm was hard but but I beat the game anyways.
