in our company the problem is mainly the ad hoc super urgent meetings where everybody has to be and you have to move the whole calendar in order to squeeze it in. in my opinion all the companies I have worked for have meeting addiction. the "let' s meet and discuss" seems to be the easiest thing to do, when in reality a lot of meetings could be easily solved by an email. a phone call or common doc shared to work on all together. I have pushed back many times, but in the end you are often forced to put the meeting in the calendar even though you know it is not worth having it.
Even though we block out time for him to "focus" or check emails, he gets pulled into other meetings that his boss can't attend and sometimes it's last minute
I have a master list of my bosses (multiple executives) standing 1:1 meetings, etc. and by October/November, we will review the meetings to see if anything will change (new people/remove people) and will start setting up 2023 meetings and block them. They will change at some point in time, but at least they will be set up.
Just watching this now. Got a job as an Executive Assistant and i have no experience. I start on Monday which is two days time. Can i get this slides and some help please
I was wondering if you could help me with this? How can I send the travel ticket details to someone, if I am booking their travel, the travel info comes from a travel agent, and its locked, I know i can unlock it by clicking on the padlock in the calendar, but I want to make sure that it shows up in their calendar if i send it to the executive, so that they know that they have an upcoming trip. Should i just forward the calendar invite that came from the travel agent after I unlock it ? do they have to accept it so that it shows up on their calendar? Also if i am in NYC and booking a trip for someone who is traveling from NYC to France, I try to send the calendar invite, I click on time zone, put the departure time (when the flight takes off)in our time zone, and landing time in France time, when I hit send, will that show up as an international time zone on their calendar once they land in France? Because when I go back to what I sent, it defaults back to NYC time. I was told it would be automatically converted for them.
Nicky where have you been all my life ?.....thank you so much for this platform

Hello from Chicago Heights, IL
What are the AI applications that can record the meetings as they are happening?
Is it me, or did this start an hour earlier than was sent in your email?
