He frequently will sell a unit with honey to keep a cricket that has less stats. It drives me wild.

@@JanMaykiel That's still 20% extra health for that unit effectively and I'd hope it'd have more than 10 damage so its not like ya need a steak on it or anything.
Garlic armor scales on friends with abilities that activate on hurt, because when idiots that stick in horse build too long summon anything with 3 or less attack the garlic armor turns them into one damage
I, too, now routinely shout garlic armour as much as possible. Love this series.

Loving this Auto Battle Pets content but the man clearly doesn't know horse build. The order misplay with the crickets was one thing but not summoning pets to get the attack buff before merging? Unforgivable.

Bro, never end your turn with floating gold. Each gold is a potential freeze + upgrade next turn. Your chances to win improve by like a million percent repeating of course. Case in point 28:58. You had another chance to reroll a horse or cricket (or both) for level up next turn.

The bus is pretty good, tho. But I don't disagree in principle. I think he also hasn't seemed to realize that some things are basically strict upgrades of other things. Like hanging onto the dog and rolling past the shark. A lvl 1 shark is always better than the dog unless the dog has leveled all the way to lvl 3, and even then it's close.
The analysis of such a cute game is so funny but also intriguing

I totally get the appeal of autobattlers, but I am slightly surprised that of all the ones out there, *this* is the one that has grabbed you haha.
There is no turn timer and no waiting for others to finish their turn. He can take as long as he want on his turn and than immediately get to combat once he clicks end turn.
It's simple, the layout isn't TFT tiny text synergies, the interactions can be complex but are simple to grasp plus the animals have tiny hats.
What's not to love?
Its simplicity is what drew him. Its very approachable.

The server issues were making me rage last night, click reroll and server would have an error then reroll would be greyed out and you'd be shit out of luck
If you click return to menu and then go back into your game it should allow you to click reroll again
I didn't like this at first but it grew on me.
The thing I have found is don't underestimate the power of the pepper. Also fuck that deer/bus/whale setup, EVERY FREAKING TIME I've fought against someone with that setup I have lost at a high chance because of that crap and there's BARELY a way to counter it. Also the max amount of a stat any pet can have is 50, also don't underestimate the Dodo either, it may look like garbage, but the more you buff up the Dodo's attack, and level it up, the more of his attack he gives to the pets in front of it.
NL was dealt the dirtiest hands that entire first run, utterly mad he survived so long it was poggers

i mean that first run he hung on to a tier 1 and tier 2 animal for way too long imo, one thing he seems to forget is that summoning synergy also has friend fainting synergy

Did you know that all the animals are google emojis? You can't do the exact one in TH-cam comments, but if you look up any of the animals in this game they have the same looks as the Google emoji. I thought that was a fun and creative way of lessening the amount of budget needed to spend on art in a game :)
Imagine how many draws he would have won if he had done the right thing and put the bees on his rear creatures instead of just on random ones....
Honestly winning individual rounds isn't that fun in this game, I'd rather play for longer than get cut off just when my composition is getting fun because I got 10 wins. Also I feel like it gets you harder opponents since matchmaking seems at least partially record-based...

NL, Horse and Dog is the newbie trap, they looks good but are actually garbage without a very specific set up

NL: Pro Tip: Always look at the "Dice" symbol. If the dice "= Rarity" shows a higher number in early rounds you have to think about them diligently. Also after some rounds you should ditch all Dice = 1 Units exept when they are important to your strategy. Horses are not a good strategy in Round 8.

12:37 Dog Strategy: Should've sold the sheep (or horse), bought the deer on the empty spot and *then* move it to the other deer (notive how the dog didn't get the perma buff in the video), then buy the dog in the same way, then buy another random animal for that empty spot. Now the dog has 3 +2 perma buffs (how Ryan did it, the dog got no perma buffs). Next turn +4/4 from both pears. Kangaroo behind the dog, they're both pogging.
Guys, please, don't start with the backlog strategy backsiting. I want this series to continue but some comments are starting to become turbo sweat

I think unfortunately you over-value the bee. Summon decks are great but need to scale into some combination of turkey shark and fly late game. Good Pogs tho

Ended up picking the game and it's been really fun. Camel is probably my favorite animal to build around, but Tiger -> Turkey is insane and got all my wins, specially with Sheep. (My best build was Tiger > lv3 Turkey > lv3 Sheep > lv2 Whale > lv2 Deer)
edit: oh, and Monkey is also absurd.

I hate the camel man it only applies to the first refresh, though i guess you could get some freeze starts in with it
What do you usually build with the camel, an elephant in front?
@@pakman184 Either elephant in front or the camel itself as the tank, but tank builds are kinda hard to pull off since you usually need to start building hp early and it takes a while to get going, so it's not unusual to lose at lot of lives at the beginning.
What helped me was focusing Beavers/Fish and getting 1 or 2 ducks to sit around (lv2 duck isn't worth it) and using Ant/Flamingo to fill space and help you get some wins, then grabbing Swans that not only help with rerolls but can tank a bunch too.
Now for the tricky part, if you get a lot of Elephants you'll want the Peacock to go behind the Camel, otherwise you can pretty much pick any unit (within reason) to get buff. If the Camel your tank, the Kangaroo pairs nicely with it.
TL;DR: Elephant or not you want Beaver/Fish early, Swan and Monkey as soon as you see it (Giraffe or Penguin can work too if you meet their requirements). Snails after losses can help a LOT if you are missing damage specially if you have a Dodo. Good luck!

I'd say Turkey and Monkey are the ones in need of a nerf, with Turkey being busted in the spawning build (Tiger only exacerbates it) and one or two Early lv1 Monkeys can make even the most fragile unit into a tank.

Honestly I was feeling pretty dumb today for keep going for horse dog summoning combo. Glad to see I'm not the only one keep going for it and keeps losing
What I've found to work is going for pairs early and on every turn that the shop upgrades you make a triple to spike a higher tier minion. So turn three when the shop starts selling tier 2 minions you triple and spike a tier 3 minion. You keep doing this and you build your composition based around the units you spike. I have many 10 win runs playing like this.
The servers are terrible today. I guess they are victim of their success.

He puts way too much value on extra rolls, if there's food and your deck au ka you should put the food on someone instead of rolling three times to freeze garbage you don't take 90% of the timemanyway, let alone the fact that for some reason you always leave 1 gold on the table so you're trading food for 2 rolls to freeze garbage.
