Francis IS NOT a bad sport. He’s met every single loss in his professional MMA career with grace, and understandably so because most of them were clear cut to the judges and to the on lookers.
This fight however is a different story, mainly because there is a large contingent of the MMA and boxing fanbase that believe Francis was robbed, so it’s understandable that this would leave him feeling justified for thinking he won. (Remember this was a Split decision victory, Fury won by one point.)
In addition to that, the night before the press conference, Tyson Fury had a heated confrontation with Francis, which probably left a bitter taste in his mouth and he saw his opportunity to bite back against Fury publicly.
As for Francis claiming that the boxing rules are protecting Fury, he’s one hundred percent right and one hundred percent justified, because Fury has made the claim that he could beat Francis in MMA several times in the past and even as recently as last night. So no Tyson Fury is not some innocent victim. At the very least you should castigate both of them for improper conduct, not just Francis.
Here's the difference: the confrontation between Fury and Ngannou before this presser is a he said she said, whereas Ngannou's statements at this press conference were very public. So who knows what they said to each other?
I'm going to judge by what's on the record, and Ngganou has consistently been a sore loser since his loss to Fury.

I’m a boxing fan, Tyson did terrible against Ngannou because he underestimated him. AJ didn’t and lit him up so bad. You could see the fear in Ngannous face. He was twitching at everything after the first round and was brutally destroyed. He should either go back to mma or face someone at Chisora’s level.

Tyson Fury talks trash to Ngannou, Ngannou dishes it back. Tyson Fury stated that he would beat Ngannou in an MMA fight. Ngannou said "No, you're being protected by the rules of boxing, if we were not boxing I would destroy you." If you watch Ngannous interviews, press conferences and face offs, you would know he is a respectful man. He seldom trash talks, and never tries to get physical during face offs. Ngannou is a man to aspire to, everything he has gone through to escape his country, and to become the UFC champion is a testament to his character.
Ngannou is fairly humble as far as fighters go.

I tried to tell the Naysayers. Ngounno does not have the skills in his early boxing career to fight a elite fighter. What Ngannou said was pointless. I could beat Ngannou with "no rules", I could offer him outside, then, when he came through the doorway, hit him with a piece of lead pipe or shoot him. Anyone can potenrially beat anyone with "no rules". The idea of boxing rules is to have a fight on a level playing field and see who is the best man, they did that, and it turned out to be Tyson Fury who was the best man.
