Yeah, this show was so over budget and the company was crippled after the creation of this series. Was it worth it? Absolutely. Well, they are now in the hand of bandai, so they have more money they can spend (with the addition now they would sell ultraman transformation device toy instead of defense team toy.)

New gen gaia is probably gonna be normal new gen ultraman. Unlike the original gaia which, they filled the screen with cast that makes the base crowded with people.
Gaia rarely killed earth-based Kaiju because he knows they would be a great help in the future. Also because Gaia is manifestation of earth itself so it make sense Gaia did not killed his creation
Most would fall down and go kaput, from Gaia's perspective, it's hasta la vista, FOOLS! KAPUT!, Gaia....and Agul Style. They should bring that back when their Successors are introduced this time, next year, which concludes the three year Silver Anniversary of the Heisei TDG Tiga / Trigger: 2021 Dyna / Decker: 2022 Gaia and Agul / TBD, we NOW know the Name, and his name is Blazer or Blazar: 2023. What a dynamite ( no pun intended...a little shout out to Decker, Dinas, and Dyna of course ) time to be a fan of Ultraman these days!! 👍
This type of monster defeat is the most unique in the Ultraman franchise, most would just fall then explode
