Great idea launching a new channel Bud, we have been considering that also. And I have been selling and organizing in my storage unit in Nevada here trying to downsize, it just doesn’t pay storing our “treasures” . Overtime it’s a huge loss unless your storing Gold Bricks, lol. Our storage unit costs $79 per month and going up. Each year of storage is another $1,000 down the drain, I always think of what I could do with that money???

Good news! about your new ventures. Good info how to jump the hope to obtain your permanent residency. I'll learn your Philippine Cebuano and Vietnamese dialects. We have a Vietnamese store in town. I can practice speaking to the old folksin Vietnamese. They will be thrilled for me to speak to them in their language. I hope it is the same language as theirs. I was wandering when you were going to get around to monetizing your channel. Good idea! I drive a truck for a living and usually have 12 to 14 hour days. I spend the last hour of my day normally watching TH-cam videos. Yours and about 4 or 5 others. I've commented on them before. My study pupils for my future plans to live in the PI. Reakay is one that I picked up a couple of years ago. Tourqouise Sunsets is another. I normally will view ads that are a minute or less and skip the longer ones. If you have a choice if possible choose shorter videos, I think they go over better. Although I have a feeling you make more money on the longer ones.
Give it a try! Can't hurt, you can always go back to what you have.
Also, you forgot to mention the most important reason for going back to the states! I know you have at least one grandkid. That's got to be the most important reason! Take care and good luck on your new venture! I'll be along for the ride. You two take care and keep safe! Dave H.
Great Video Mr Brown Now you said you been on TH-cam for 10 yrs i was subscribe to you way back then and i have watched every video you have every made and that is the truth ..so you see i have known of you for along time even before others come along and that is the truth But it's funny how things change . as for me i never did Sir and i know you did not either and that is the truth and i always been disappointed in your subscribe count it should be way more than what it is Mr Brown you have been in the Philippines longer than any of the new comers and you help alot of people with your language learning videos and others videos you do ... You already have the hardest part done on this channel, 24 thousand subs here, and 6.7 million views, you are already qualified to monetize your real channel here. However many hoops you have to jump through, you should pursue monetizing this one as well. Keep em coming. It's so great to see you back to full health.

I would like to see something on cost of healthcare insurance in Philippines, cost of prescription drugs. I know a American he pays135 $ per month to supplement Medicare he cant use unless he returns to states for serious medical problems. He said he cant drop it because it hard to reinstate once you drop. Plus Phil health 700 $ yearly. High blood pressure medication alone 3.50$ per day or about 42$ for month for one pill. That a subject expats dont talk about except one blogger he said you dont wont to live in Philippines unless your in good health .
you are well over due to monetize your channel the amount of money some make can be life changing or at least by groceries we will still watch every video you put up if the commercials get to long the subscribers can skip them too i I am sure everyone of us will go to your new channel

The only way I can help you is to watch your ads that will be on your channel, happily. Buy more tsinelas!! If you want an eye opener, you can see the approximate income of TH-camrs by entering their TH-cam name into this website: socialblade.com/ , you will probably have a heart attack when you see how much some make. Other TH-camrs have said that you make on average 60% of the income "range" on Social Blade. My daughter (9yrs old) watches a TH-camr called DanTDM, he made 16.5 million in 2017. You actually cannot see his income on Social Blade (only his views), I guess when you make that much you can pay to have it removed!! The point is you can look up other TH-camr's channels, like the one you mentioned visiting, and you may be surprised at how much money they make. Understand, I have full respect for these people, it takes time, money and commitment to make, edit and post videos. Looking forward to your new monetized channel! There are places you can learn Tagalog for a fee on line.
Monetize it. Get the money even if you don't need it for yourself. You can do a lot more for others then, as you are always feeding kids and putting flip flops on their feet.
