      Almost 2.5yrs and still working, believe it or not! It’s the first version, before they increased the kpa. I’ve since learnt some shortcuts to cleaning the parts. My latest update - th-cam.com/video/235lIBNTShs/w-d-xo.html

      It’s always a gamble when you can’t test the actual product, isn’t it? Mine is still working, coming to 2.5yo next month. I’ve since learnt to do some shortcuts on parts cleaning. The cleaning video…. I do it like once every 2 mths or so now.

    I have bought it for less than a year, probably 7 months and i had problem with the vacuum sucking hair. it won't suck, the roller will just kicked it out and it's very annoying. I even cleaned the roller like what you did.

    Does it able to vacuum large particle without any issue on filter. Like vacuuming the car that have small sand stone?

    • @syddamha
      @syddamha  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      our team Hi.... I just discovered the brand has an upgraded version of this model with stronger motor power at 19kpa. Mine’s the original at 17kpa, and it sucked in a safety pin in normal mode. This latest version shouldn’t have issues with grains of sand.

    • @frittle
      @frittle 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Mite head is overrated for any vacuum cleaner, because uv light don't kill mites instantly, it needs some time. Dyson says you need to keep the mite head at least 60 secs on the same spot, and it could only kill mites that don't move around trying to escape from the uv light, so basically it's impractical.

    • @syddamha
      @syddamha  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      red Thanks for the info. I never got around to buying the mite head. Will likely engaged professional mattress cleaning - it’s just too much work.

    • @syddamha
      @syddamha  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      TheTmk613 Hi... 10 Apr 2020. Coming to one year soon and it’s still functioning. As for the cleaning.... for the convenience of it being a stick vacuum, you have to acknowledge that all parts are smaller than a regular corded one, so higher cleaning frequency is expected if you use daily. I’m a bit lazy to wipe clean, so I just wash them under my shower head in power spray setting, shake/wipe off access water and let air dry. Tangled hair on any vacuum rollers are the worst, so I like that the parts can be disassembled easily. I’m planning to buy spare parts, specifically the hepa filters and main brush. Noticed they’ve upgraded the motor of this model to 19kpa. Mine’s 17kpa. I’m putting together another vid soon.

    I want to ask about the station base, do we have to connect to its charger everytime we used or it automatically charged when we put it back at it’s station base? I mean like dyson dock station, the wire cable already connected to it’s dock so it’s automatically charged. Thank you

    • @syddamha
      @syddamha  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Aimi Dalila The Airbot charging dock/base/station has a wired cable which I keep plugged into a power socket. I just click the motor head onto the base whenever I need to charge it.

    Is it good for cleaning curtains also? What attachment should I use? 😊

    • @syddamha
      @syddamha  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, sorry for the late reply. I wasn’t expecting comments to still come in. For curtains, just to lift off dust collecting in the small nooks, yes. But a thorough wash at some point is still needed, just maybe not as frequent? The nozzle or the tiny flat brush should do it, depending on which model you have, and at normal speed. It’s just a portable vacuum but I found the suction on higher speed a bit too strong, some of the cloth gets sucked in and I can’t slide the vacuum in a downward motion smoothly. Mine’s the original version that came with the two attachments mentioned.

    Hi, my concern is the hair tangled on the fluffy brush/roller. Isn't it difficult to remove those tangle hair from the roller? Or should get those cordless vacuum without this type of roller brush? Coz I mainly use to vacuum the hair falls. 😅

    • @syddamha
      @syddamha  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cadence Ang I just take the scissors and cut across, and all come off. The ends are the ones that’s a bit difficult to clear. The happy thing I discovered after buying this vacuum stick is that you can pull out the brush, and I do vacuum without fixing it on sometimes, especially on hard flooring. I couldn’t do that with the roller from my old corded vacuum.

    • @syddamha

      Price, but not without researching first. I ran through so many cordless vacuums and realised I needed to get one with decent running time, battery power and suction power for lightweight cleaning. Then I found all the vacuums with similar specs, checked their reviews and identified their minus points, weeded out the bad ones and then arranged them according to price. Final decision - Airbot.

    The roller won’t spin after I clean and put it back 😮

    • @syddamha
      @syddamha  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. Not sure what happened there but could be one of these, maybe?
      • you rinsed the floor brush with the roller. You can’t cos as it has a built-in motor.
      • you rinsed just the roller but didn’t wait for it to dry properly so some water leaked in upon assembling.
      If it’s neither, without inserting the roller inside the floor brush, see if the cog part (on the end you connect the roller to) turns or not when you on the vac. If it’s still under warranty, you can still contact their customer service. I would search their website for contact details.

      This item is an online product, you can’t test run the physical item, and that’s why I upload my vids so folks can at least witness it through my experience. I don’t recommend or otherwise - my reviews and updates are honest, ie. I earn nothing from Airbot. Beside, I’m certain you can hear the sound level it generates when I turn my vacuum on.
