- Zanskar is one such place I can never get enough of. I had visited Zanskar in July 2021 and this year (2002), it was my second visit to Padum. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to attend this festival, as it was one stop to get to see so much about the culture of Kargil and Zanskar (which lies in the Kargil district). First of all, Paba(local food) you tasted was not a stream food, it(grain flour) mixed with boiling water for half an hour till it get dried and hard.

What time of the year does Zanskar Festival takes place?
Julley u can visit zanskar from mid April to dec 1st week of every year there are many kind of festivals mostly festivals come in summer , especially monasteries festivals come June to August n mid of the September biggest festivals which u have watched in this vlog if ur tourist u can visit as I mentioned above time …..
