Fish hawk can you lmk some great spots to catch some native browns in wv . I’m from western Maryland fish Maryland and West Virginia love doing some catch and release fishing this time of year .
I used to deliver in Green River Wyoming. The Green River actually flowed through the property. I always took my fishing gear, but never had an opportunity to go fishing.
I truly enjoy your videos , keep pounding those trout . Glad to see you getting out of WV and letting us see how the trout fishing is in other states . Thanks again and keep them coming
I always love watching your videos because you use gear and methods that are attainable by the average working class person. FYI....Whitefish are absolutely excellent table fare! Glynn from Canada 🇨🇦
Here in the Mountain West, a lot of the fly fisherfolk really enjoy the whitefish. Not as prized as a brown or a rainbow trout, the whitefish are still common, and will put up a good fight.
Awesome upload! I camped where the river spills out at the Lower Green River Lake up in the Wind River Range. Easily limited out on rainbows on an ultralight spinning rig. They were not as big as what you were hauling in and may have even been stocked. Thanks for triggering great memories of long ago.
Great video. The green river is a great river. A couple of ideas, the river by Flaming Gorge is even better. Also if you are ever in Utah you should fish the Provo and the Webber River.
Fishhawk you are the man!!! I wish I could go back in time and do what your doing!!!! Keep it going man, I'll keep watching and soon I'll be putting my own videos of area and I'll give you my you tube name prior so you can enjoy my side of fishing. Fish on brother!!!
Spinners can produce great trout when the fishing pressure has been at a low. The black and gold panther Martin can produce some dandies too fishhawk, a lure to keep in mind.
Luv the "Holy Moly" browns in browntown look like fatties too great video have safe trip home enjoy all that water out there 😀new specices also awesome 😄
Man I watched the first half of your video and was thinking how in the heck are you fishing in Wyoming without wind. Then about 11:00 in. Yep that's the Wyoming I know and love, haha.
Man, where’s the uncensored version of that loss?!? XD. Those whitefish look like the love child of a sturgeon and a pikeminnow haha. Great catches dude!
I bet that'd be a great place to live, it's like timeless there. Oh I bet it gets really, really, really, really dark there. The wildlife out there looks really great and the fish in there looks super terrific. Great video and fish catching too
I’d like to know if you use a second GoPro separate from the one strapped to your chest for the water shots? If so, do you hold it down with your hand and try to point it at the fish using polarized glasses to see the fish? Your underwater camera seems to follow the fishes direction when they swim away. I want to try recording my fish releases underwater as well. Sorry for the long question.
I appreciate it. Thanks. I know a remote stretch of river I think you’d love if you come to Alberta, Canada. By the way your editing software link in your description isn’t working anymore.
Another great video, good job. Can you help me with this question, I fish at this lake stocked decent amount of trout, but there are also decent amount of fishmen. When I fish spinner, fish will hit very hard once but never come back, what do you think? Should I set the hook hard when fish hit spinner or should I go gentle and reel in line fast? Thanks
Thank you! That happens a lot to me. Sometimes they hit it with no intention of eating it. Or they just hit the front of the spinner and don’t get the hooks. They can be real finicky sometimes. When they’re doing that I try setting the hook as fast as I can. As soon as you feel the bite. Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes not haha
do you have advice on what to look for when fishing on the river? like how do you know fish are there? is there a method to the madness or just cast and see if anything bites?
Oh yeah there’s definitely things to look for. Current, structure, eddies, deep water, shallow water, riffles. Just gotta find out where they’re hanging. During this Wyoming trip most of them were in the deep, slower moving water. They didn’t seem to be hanging in the super fast water.
Dude, NICELY DONE my friend.😀👍 Never heard of the "white fish" before. Is that a subspecies of trout er sumthin?🤔 Whatever the case may be, gorgeous catches man.🙂👍Oh, hey gotta ask, when wearing the waders n'all are you able to stay comfortable while out in the sun with those things? I've worn the "high" leg waders before and was sweating like CRAZY. Just curious how ya maintain a comfortable temp. Please keep these vidz comin and I hope there's more to these Wyoming vidz. Peace ✌😎
Thanks man! I’m not sure about the whitefish but I think they’re related to suckers. They have a weird “sucker” like mouth. The waders I wear are breathable and I stay pretty comfortable in them. If it’s cold out I wear long johns under them. If it’s hot I’ll wear some lightweight leggings. I got 1 more Wyoming vid and it’s going to be awesome. I caught some monster brown trout. Stay tuned 😎
In-line spinners “spin” in the water which spins and twists your line. It will cause knots eventually. The barrel swivel stops your line from twisting.
Cody and Green River are far from desolate as far as towns in the Mountain West go. Cody is a gateway to Yellowstone, that town is boomin. The West is vast and the towns and cities are sparse.
This Wyoming trip is awesome. Love the extra footage of the area and animals
Thanks brother! You gotta make a trip out there some day!
Isn’t Wyoming beautiful? Looks like you were in a great area for seeing wildlife. Let’s GO!
The river, the surroundings, the fishing... Absolutely wonderful Tyler.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it 😃
Big water for big fish. Very nice.

I love Wyoming. Beautiful country and animals. The FH spinner does catch everything. Let's go!
It’s amazing out there. Thanks a bunch David!
Big browns and big fish everywhere! The white fish was the biggest I’ve ever seen!

Scenery looks awesome, catching fish was just a bonus.👍👍👍
Yessir! You nailed it
I love fishing
Nice to see the FH spinner doing the business wherever it goes!
Yessir! Appreciate it Matthew!
I love how you've become a little more 'cinematic' with your shoots. It really adds a professional flair to your videos.
Thanks Doug. Might get a drone to add some “cinematic” feel to the videos.
Dude, loved the additional shots of the wildlife and birds. I always look for this on other fishing channels and not many do it. Great vid!
Thank you! I’m glad someone enjoyed those shots. I sure enjoyed shooting them.
@@FishHawk yeah, that eagle doing a barrel roll was such an awesome shot!
Great video! Bummer you lost that big brown!
Nice job Hawk!🎣👊

Great video. You got some great wildlife footage at the beginning!
Thank you! 😃
Amazing place!!! love your videos man, thank you for this!

Awesome job yet again buddy! I love them beautiful views! So many different animals! Them trout are pretty in that clear water!

Your welcome buddy!
Make sure your hooks are sharp, those stones will dull them and they don’t stick as well! Beautiful area and river! Great job, hope you had fun!

Yep! Never fails! It’s like someone flipped a light switch. Went from no wind to 20-30 mph wind haha. But when the fish are biting I don’t mind 😁
Love ur vids
love that one of the coldest states in the United States looks like a desert 😂
Man, where’s the uncensored version of that loss?!? XD. Those whitefish look like the love child of a sturgeon and a pikeminnow haha. Great catches dude!
Hahaha it wasn’t too bad. Just figured it was best to mute that part 😉 thanks a bunch Scott!

U fishin down close to Kemmerer? I was lookin at land put that way. Up towards Jackson is real nice. Found some land there for a million an acre 😂😂.
Maybe, maybe not. I can’t say for sure 😉
Awesome video man! Hey just curious, what month was this?
Great series!! Any catch and cooks there?
Thanks Cole. No catch and cooks. Maybe next time though 😃

That little reel sounded rough on first fish, time for Diawa Fuego?
Is there a lot of vehicle access to spots like these
What river are you fishing in Wyoming and what time of the season are you fishin fishing it?
What kinda line your rocking?
6 lb P-Line Fluorocarbon

@@FishHawk whitefish are actually delicious! They're closely related and have evolved with other salmonids.
@@tomritter493 if you ever have the opportunity to visit the West, you should consider it. It's a very different thing as far as the lower 48 go!
Beautiful Country….& Wildlife Nice Hookups !! Never seen A Whitefish Before…What Family Do They Come From ?
whitefish are from the salmon family
Thank you! I’m not sure Phil. It was my first time catching one. I’m guessing some kind of sucker fish.
How many wild wyoming parts are u gonna do?
Only 3
Not much green growth to speak of... That would feel very odd to me.
But PK = √
where is this
Come to Washington state to fish
I want to!!!
@@FishHawk I can take you out fishing to rufus woods 10lbs and over trouts
Very small and few pepole. And we like it that way.
I'd love to throw my fly rod there.
Lucky you, Enjoy God's World! You just added a spot on my buckets list.
Thank you Patrick!
Early!
Appreciate you
Are any of these trout natives?
Ummm, maybe the whitefish. But the trout are wild or stocked. Mostly wild I believe.
That white fish, is that a carp?
