Thanks so much. Well the church purchased remo but I’m endorsed with Aqaurian so I have a response 2 clear on the snare. This kit is a collectors exotic maple/mahogany
So i was wondering, i would say at least 50% of all the worship songs now have the 'build-up' drum part. Firstly floor and snare, then cymbal and snare. When did we start (over)using this? Do we have to use it? Yes, it builds tensing and so it helps the worship but as a drummer myself i noticed it is used soooo much. What are your thoughts on it?

I rarely find these very loud noisy band oerformance songs actually glorifying God & seeking Him in quiet prayerfull surrounds would be far more i inspirational. Why is thete such a push for churches to be like musical powered rock concerts?

I’ve been playing with clear for years. It’s not popular but I feel the snare is warmer and more sensitive.
