En verano del 2022 tuvimos el privilegio de descubrir una auténtica joya en la península de Varanger al norte de Noruega: la impresionante isla de Hornoya. Mientras recorríamos Noruega en nuestra furgoneta en busca de fauna salvaje para fotografiar y grabar en vídeo, nos recomendaron visitar esta isla. Tras recorrer cientos de kilómetros a través de Suecia y Finlandia, finalmente llegamos al pintoresco pueblo de Vardo, donde tomamos un barco que nos llevó hasta la isla de Hornoya.
Lo que encontramos allí fue simplemente impresionante: una increíble variedad de aves que nos dejó sin palabras. Desde Alcas y Frailecillos hasta Araos, Gaviotas y Cormoranes Moñudos, miles de aves revoloteando sobre nuestras cabezas, creando una experiencia única que no podíamos esperar a compartir con todos vosotros.
Por eso, hemos creado este video para que podáis vivir con nosotros esta experiencia maravillosa y descubrir la impresionante fauna salvaje que se encuentra en la isla de Hornoya en Noruega.

In the summer of 2022, we had the privilege of discovering a true gem on the Varanger Peninsula in northern Norway: the stunning island of Hornoya. As we traveled through Norway in our van in search of wildlife to photograph and film, we were recommended to visit this island. After traveling hundreds of kilometers through Sweden and Finland, we finally arrived in the picturesque town of Vardo, where we took a boat to Hornoya Island.
What we found there was simply stunning: an incredible variety of birds that left us speechless. From Guillemots and Puffins to Razorbills, Gulls, and Shags, thousands of birds fluttered above our heads, creating a unique experience that we couldn't wait to share with all of you.
That's why we've created this video so you can experience this wonderful adventure with us and discover the impressive wildlife that can be found on Hornoya Island in Norway.
