Wow, the amount of work that the kids had to put into decorating the cakes reminded me of my childhood in East Texas in the 70s. We did not have electric ice cream makers, but manual hand-cranked ice cream makers. The kids would sit there for about an hour, taking turns hand-turning the crank on the cream maker, just to all have a small bowl of ice cream. But it was so worth it! I remember it like it was yesterday! Plain vanilla and peach were my two favorite flavors.

You should have asked the cake seller for the icing when you bought the sponges from? Fun to decorate your own cake, I used to make cakes when my children were younger they enjoyed whisking the mixture as well as eating some of the butter cream icing before it got on the cake. Thank you Anonymous again, for your generosity. Melrose was overwhelmed with the money, and took so long perfecting her cake decoration, bless her. Cake and ice cream always a winner!
On this episode of the Philippines: Today Dustin and his hunnie bunnie went into town to grab some products :P A big thanks to annoymous :P It was two of the girls birthdays (Say happy birthday to them for me :P) The girls were blessed about making their own cake :P Their sisters were wanting to eat the decorations (As seen in videos ) One of them love the pink frosting and as Everly wanted to join in the fun :P But otherwise they had a good day :P
Dustin you mean to say no one knows how to make a buttercream frosting? I think I have made well over 500 Birthday cakes about 100 wedding cakes and God I have no idea how many other cakes. Reche would love my Chocolate Fudge Frosting. I remember in College I made a 7 tier wedding cake and it was all done ready to be sent out for a wedding that weekend and a couple kids playing around knocked over the cake. The Instructor was in the class room and she screamed and then started to cry. I walked in and the first thing she said was OMG. I said what's wrong and she points to the floor. You could hear a pin drop on the floor17 kids and not one said a word. I looked at the Instructor and said when is the wedding she said in 48 hours. I said well lets get to it . Yep I had to make the cake all over again from scratch. The Instructor was really upset and I said no worries they will have to stay with me and clean watch and help till I am done. She agreed and I got the cake done just in time for the wedding. They loved their wedding cake. No one fooled around in the class room again.

I told him a few times to stop before he hurts someone or himself and he just laughed at me calling me the teachers pet. Always will be that one student . Wasn't long and he flipped the knife up and someone dropped a large pan enough to startle him and he sliced his hand wide open. He started bleeding pretty good and I asked what happen he said nothing. He went to the sink to wash his hand and saw how bad the cut was panicked and told me I need to get help. I walked over to him slowly looked and said Oh look at that you got a scratch. Then I asked did you get that from playing with the knife? The others in the class room yelled yes as he said no. He said get help A H I said no problem we don't need help. I looked at another student and said get the Butcher knife. The girl did and I said ok lay your hand out he did and said what are you going to do? I said well the only thing I can to cut the damn hand off. He said help me I said this is not a first aid class and it is not a Play room . Then I said I did warn you many times. I wrapped his hand and a girl went to get one of the Instructors. They looked at it called the Ambulance and he was all patched up. The next day he was no longer in the class he was kicked out for his fooling around.
The bills at the new location were more expensive. Pick up new contracts at nearby hotels, resorts and restaurants for additional daily sales. That's what I would do.

Nice story. No one should be fooling around in a class where there are knives, perishables and hot tools/equipment in the first place.

Why buying cakes? Where's the bakery of your father in law?
