    Thanks for the video. Nice to see it done before trying it myself. Question: In my Pahaque 5 x 7 in each corner about 4 feet off the floor there are 6 inch elastic loops with a small black hook on the ends. Do you know the purpose of these elastic straps? It's not obvious to me.

    • @CampMymy

    Hi, we own this tent and like it but have trouble keeping rain out because of the simple ties between sections. Any suggestions? Nice video!

    • @CampMymy
      @CampMymy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching! I only had an issue with rain coming in once, and it was an extremely heavy downpour - it did come in on one corner. I use it more like a screen room so don't keep anything in it that can't get wet - I wonder if putting binder clips to hold the sections together would help.

    • @CampMymy
      @CampMymy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Where did you get the 5 by 7 from and roughly how much was it? Thanks

  • @happyhome41
    @happyhome41 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    It appears that the flaps on the sides can do double duty as awnings, and the instructions imply as such. I didn't see you setting up with the awning poles -- also missed the part where the flap on the door side goes on the roof. I think I see in the video your trailer has a roof vent like ours, and we would like to keep that open.

    • @CampMymy
      @CampMymy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello! To put the flap on the roof, I use the suction cups to secure it to the roof with the ties, you can avoid covering the vent by not pulling it taught - however if it rains you may have to make some adjustments to keep it from pooling water - I make sure there is a bit of an angle so it won't hold water.

    Hi, me again! I'm getting faster at setting up the 5x7, but have 2 questions. I've never put the rainfly on, are there straps to attach on the tent? What do you do with the large piece of material that goes on. top of t@g? Do use guy lines?

    • @CampMymy
      @CampMymy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I always use the rainfly, there are straps that attach to the bottom of the tent. I use suction cups to attach the awning over the t@g.
