It's always windy next to the sea. Depends if you want seaside towns or not. Many towns and villages in the South are good for retirement. A bit hard to just pick one or two. Weston is a popular choice for retirement for the local people, I guess just don't live too close to the sea of you don't like the wind.
I know people take university degree at a later stage in life. Some universities will do courses that will not require high entry requirements. I remember a 60 year old lady in church who took a degree in sociology or something, despite a few failed modules, she made it and got her degree. I'm sure many people can do it!

從Bath可以坐巴士去Weston Super Mare, 途中經過Cheddar(出產Cheddar cheese), 食個cream tea(scone, cream, strawberry jam)。Weston Super Mare應該係個宜退休海邊小鎮，有D區有大量bungalow。
