I have had my AP Diver for several years and in fact, I acquired it from WUW at the time and no doubt Tim's video greatly influenced the decision. Love it ✌ I have version one with the closed case back.

I really like this one it has about the same retail price as the classic RO 41 but is readily available (so no ridiculous resell prices)

An Offshore I could get onboard with. Clean and functional. Though I’m still not keen on the large hobnail dials these Offshores use, but it’s black here so more discrete anyway. Great lume too.
the 3120 is an interesting mvt. 40 jewels, 60hrs PR , 280 parts (egad!) yet only 3 Hz. that's right 6 beats per second (at 21,600 bph) - so in essence 25% less smooth than that of say a Submariner and a plethora of any other lower priced movements/watches. This is sort of a Grail watch for me. I have your Rolex, Panerai's GP's Nomos, but yet to acquire an AP. they are pricey little birds. aren't they . Just a little surprised after a quick research into the MVT it's only 3 Hz. Still a stunning bit of kit as seen through that exhibition case back with that wonderful 22kt. rotor - wow!

They need to ditch those hideous rubberized crowns and go for ceramic. They look so cheap.
