Because of the pre-curved (1:46), when you stretch your fingers, the wrist and palm area moves out. So, you need to pull them back again to fit the pre curved position?
Unfortunately, this is the area where I felt these gloves really struggled and the last thing I want while riding is distractions from my gear not fitting good. Hopefully the next generation will have a better closure system. Best of luck and be safe!
