About 'Longing for Spring'

This drama is nice and sweet. The actress’ on-screen chemistry with the main lead here was good, but nothing beats her chemistry with Sung Hoon in My Secret Romance. And the hiccuping at the end of this drama was put to good use in My Secret Romance, too.
OH HOW SWEET.. This was 5 years ago. Hard to believe.. When he is out of the service I hope he is cast as main male lead in a great drama. He deserves it!!!

The Velvets - Lol, I noticed, she really had them in Secret Romance, although I couldn't blame her lol. She seems to get the best looking guys to act with. I forgot to mention, she acts with Ji Chang Wook in Suspicious Partners. That is a great romance/thriller/investigative drama, and I do mean great!

I didn't follow Secret tbh. I really enjoyed all her solo tracks and thought she had potential, but I guess they didn't sell well and she wasn't a big name or from a really popular group. That's good if she can find success in acting. There's plenty of kdramas and can make more money than singing too.

When I discovered them, I would say they were middle-of-the-pack, behind more popular 2nd gen girl groups like 2ne1, SNSD, Wonder Girls, 4minute, and Sistar. Those groups have artists who went solo and are still really popular because of the fame they established with their groups. That's the key part.
But reading on wiki, it looks like Secret's company, TS Ent., was pretty awful with the members even suing them. It's sad that bad management is why they broke up. Most groups last on average 7 years, but their last release was in 2014 so they were only really active for 5 years. I think their company should promoted them more as a group instead of pushing the members to go solo after only debuting for a couple years.
