In a nutshell, I ‘m an avid dumpster diver, scrapper, picker, treasure hunter and underwater connoisseur. I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. I had friends that tag teamed these, wife and he had old beater trucks and she did cardboard and pallets, he did scrap. They weren't choosey, they dumpster DOVE. Aluminum cans, cardboard, pallets, they took it all. Made fair money as a team also! When I first met them they were black from heat to toe and filthy, but dirty hands makes for clean money. Good guys those two, we went to dinner a couple of times had great times, good memories!thanks Mike!

Mike, thanks for making such _GREAT VIDEOS_ ! I've tried watching videos from lots of other Dumpster Divers and most of them are either boring as *SHIT* or just very poorly made. To the point that they're unwatchable! When you first started out, I had my doubts, but you got better and better and better. Now you're _SIMPLY THE BEST_ And I really appreciate your efforts and what you do. Hope you can keep doing what you do for a very long time!

I’m in Minnesota so it’s free everywhere here and there are bins specifically for cardboard for residential, commercial, recycle centers, and landfills

In my area you have to pay to dispose of cardboard too. So some businesses just don't bother. My brother in law uses a shredder that cuts up old boxes into packing material. It saves on packing materials and avoids having to pay for cardboard disposal

Sending prayers for your little puppy dog . And the law states if at anytime there is anything next to the dumpsters or leaning on the dumpsters it is up for grabs but if it is up against the building or leaning on the building is is not up for grabs .

Those staple cartridges are for the big copier printers that collate your copies and staple the packets for you.

Mike, those black things are parts for gasoline pumps, I am pretty sure at least. Those motors are the pump motors.

That item, large diameter pipe flow-sencor. They are designed to alert someone to a flow stoppage.

Those large black motors are garbage disposal units it's where you dont want to put your fingers when you dont know which switch to flip lol
I might be wrong but I think those clamps are for truck exhaust temperature,, so you can keep an eye on your temp on your exhaust,,
Yeah I agree the cardboard needs it's own dumpster and the pallets/ food / glass. and all the metal in one Mike I know exactly about the Love for your dog/cat animals yep great video
So just minutes before you mentioned having them leave the good scrap next to the dumpster, I had the idea of 'MTS Recycling Service". You could have your own line of dumpsters just for metal and electronics. Then you would have your own dumpster truck to just empty it they way the other companies do.

Me my husband got a bull dog when we got married had her for 14 year before we had to put her down the hardest thing ever, she’s been gone for 9 years and we still can’t talk about her without crying, got her pictures all over are house.
My Dad lives in lower state New York . They got almost thirty inches of snow. Would have loved to have seen that myself...but alas, I am in Georgia. Can't buy a snowflake round here. Lol

You might want to look into either craigslisting or ebaying some of that stuff if you don't already. I looked at some videos and researched industrial sales etc and you could make some real money way more than just scrap pricing.
That module is a stepper motor controller.

HDMI cables can be expensive, but the stores don't pay much for them. If you buy a new TV from an electronics store get them to throw in the HDMI for free.

Those baldor motors are worth $1000, I repair treadmills and in some commercial brands they have baldor motors. A costumer asked me to replace a motor one time and it had a baldor motor. When I told them the price they changed their mind.

Can't sell pallets where I live. They're so plentiful a guy dedicated one of his lots to a "take a pallet, leave a pallet" 🤣 the business drop them off and people pick them up for fires. We burn them by the bed load.
U need to keep a backpack of change of clothes long pants and warm jacket in winter and change shorts n shirt during warm weather in case of spills getting on ur clothes 😃

They are 24 volt vending machine motors. He found a bunch of them a while back.

Wow, what a dumpster of wire and bins. wish I could have been there and had you pick out all those clear plastic boxes and the blue ones with lids for me. And those Non-Akro Bins are all made by the same company, just licensed to other companies also.

Mike the motors are ok with a good clean just am to far away cannot afford delivery or i would get them regular guys ovr there must be able to use them surely ya got bodges over there to mate

those motors and gear boxes looked to be new and worth far more than scrap value... As in the motors if new would likely run from $40 up to about $120 EACH depending on what they are for and the gear boxes could cost about the same. Its likely they were tossed because they were bought for a job that was bid as cost plus which means excess supplies are just thrown away. There could easily be over $1000 worth of motors and gear boxes there and to sell them for scrap wont get you anywheres near that much. It pays to research things like that before just scrapping them.
