We Are a Branch of the largest fight organization in the country, STREETBEEFS. The Scrapyard was created in 2020 by "Firechicken", a former Amateur MMA fighter, Wrestling coach, and Boxer. The main branch of STREETBEEFS was created in 2008 by Chris Wilmore aka Scarface. Streetbeefs as a concept was created in order to stop street violence with it's "Guns down, Gloves up" movement. The Scrapyard holds monthly fights in our Pacific northwest location. No money is involved in any way, we do not pay fighters or charge any sort of admission to our events. We aim to give people a place to start their combat sports journey, meet people, solve beefs, or just test out their abilities.

Thunderhead is a rock! Surviving Highspeed's house of pain for 3 rounds can't be easy. One of the best fights I've seen at The Scrapyard!

Had every round Highspeed, but great fight and fantastic debut from Thunderhead. Highspeed almost paid deep for that low guard. Best fight I've seen on Scrapyard in a long time.
I myself do Muay Thai and this was very fun to watch props to both fighters !!!
You can always tell when someone really trained in kickboxing bc when you check kicks they almost touch their elbow to the knee ,and if you have ever kicked a elbow shh don't tickle

Great fight!!! Both showed excellent technique and true heart!!! These two warriors have put in the time to learn the craft!! Well done!!! Illegal sweep at 2:50 but heat of the moment and Thunderhead didn't let it phase him. Again, well done excellent fight!!!!

Military isn't prime age, it's the absolute minimum someone can legally do it.
Most ufc Champs are in their 30s
@@StreetbeefsScrapyard most UFC champs have been fighting for 10 years which is scientifically the amount of time (10,000 hours) it takes to become a professional at something. They also retire in their 30s. It’s not because they’re prime age for fighting it’s because they’re just better fighters because they’ve been doing it longer.
Military cut off for fighter pilots is 33 they don’t want men in their 30s for a reason and the absolute latest is very early 30s
@@RealNaisuCinema it's because they are at their peak as far as experience and still able to physically be competitive. So yes, 30s are peak due to experience and performance.

1:47 Awesome way to get the takedown if you can't get the sweep is to just push/lift up and over back towards the opponents head, almost like you're giving a high five to someone a little taller than you. I hope it helps anyone who trains/spars/fights. :)

JUST WOW! When I saw someone with 0-0 going against Highspeed I was like oh F! This about to be a homicide! But WOW! Thunderhead held to his namesake! I haven't seen someone take that much damage and not be unphased since Solo! Both absolute warriors! I hope Thunderhead comes back!!!

When getting a teep in a normal roped ring I could at least bounce off the ropes. Against those boards I would puke my guts out lol. Awesome fight, love the content.
The cage has a little bounce in it but man what a good fight that thunderhead guy really did make me a fan of him
@HIGHSPEED yep it was,.especially as I could relate to their weight and height. When I was fighting amateur I had to drop from 210 to 170 and I'm also 5' 10". I could really relate to how gassed both fighters were by round 3, especially the winner who was over 200 lbs.
Both of them showed heart, good warriors, great fight.

How do takedowns/sweeps work in Muay Thai. It looked like it was stopped as soon as he hit the ground in round one. Is it a points thing? Does a certain number end the fight? I'm assuming there's no ground and pound.
No ground fighting in Muay Thai. Break and re-start when a fighter gets dumped. Clinching is allowed as long as both guys are working, then it’s a break.

Hell of a fight high speed stayed active thunderhead took more punishment than he had too i wish he would’ve fought harder but he’s a warrior for taking all of those kicks and punches high speed had those combos READY

You have to have a competent engaged ref in Muay Thai. Can't just let them go at it like boxing & MMA, there's too much going on here that's outside the ruleset.
