"It is appointed once for man to die". The only two that I'm aware of who did not die, was Elijah and Enoch. I look forward to being raptured, so I guess I shouldn't worry about it.
I enjoyed your teaching on Revelation 11. You have a wonderful teaching manner. The note on Moses having died is important factor. No one teaches the possibility of John himself being the second witness. The plain reading of chapter 10 where the angel instructs John to eat the scroll and tells him that the message of the thunders is not to be revealed in the current testamony of Revelation; then says, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.”
I always believed that these two misterious men would be Moses and Eliajah. But i used to have doubts about it when i remembered that Moses died. But the argument about Lazarus had died twice is really interesting. I love this channel.

Elijah's spirit already came with John the Baptist, What I love so much about our Most High Holy Living God Our true Father he keeps us on our toes, and when I opened the word of God and asked My Father each time for A spiritual Knowledge and understanding he never let me down, but I also believe some of prayers are always answered only He is Our Father and No is an answer to! I'm not entirely sure what you mean by your first sentence, but if you mean that Elijah already came and therefore will not again, I would direct you to Malachi 4:5, which is an excellent indication that the prophet will appear on the scene again during the tribulation period, as is the context of the whole chapter of Malachi. Additionally, taken together with Christine's remarks about the transfiguration and his OT miracles, we can see Moses implied in the previous verse, Malachi 4:4, to accompany Elijah as the other witness during that terrible time.

Hi Christine! Another possibility for the two witnesses could be Michael and Gabriel. They are described as 'two olive trees' and 'two lamp stands' that stand before the Lord of the Earth. They have witnessed all that has taken place throughout History. Revelation 11:3-12, 1260 days or 3 and 1/2 years of Prophesying, then 3 1/2 Days their bodies would lie in the street before being resurrected is the same way as the Messiah, not having seen corruption. Daniel 12:5, Daniel 10:21, Michael and Gabriel having a full knowledge of things to come. They also appeared as Men to Abraham, Genesis 18:2, and verse 6. @@dokterphaidon Hi! Yes, Malachi did say that, but have you considered Matthew 11:14, where the Messiah said that John the Baptist was the one who came in the spirit of Elijah, Luke 1:13-17. If we can accept this, then this would mean Malachi was referring to the Dreadful Day of the Lord in relation to the Destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 AD. Just something to think about.

Elijah is surely one of the Two Witnesses, but the other may be John because he was given a message in Revelation 10 then told that he must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. But is there any evidence of him doing so at the close of the first century? I don’t think there is. So it sounds like he’s going to return. Then the two lampstands and two olive trees could represent men from the Old and New Testaments. Just imagine the exegesis they could go into to correct doctrine from both time periods.

All this misleading information does help conceal the identies of the two witnesses (who are Gentile Christains - not Jewish!). Just because this prophet or that prophet had this or these powers or those powers does NOT provide any information as to the identies of the two witnesses. Also, it is quite possible several or more of ancient prophets could return to teach, but most likely their returns will be in spirit form.

Christine, I would think Moses was also translated, Lazarus wasn't translated but raised from death back to mortality. Satan's objection over Moses was probably related to the fall of Adam and the universal nature of death as the consequence. The two witnesses will teach the gospel of Christ. They will be mortal as were all Prophets during their mortal ministries. However in instances of the conferring of Priesthood keys of authority a prophet's ministry may extend again to Earth as a messenger sent from the presence of God, which defines what an angel is, being spirit only, or resurrected or translated as on the mount of transfiguration with their bodies. Angels are men, who belong to this earth and they minister to it, (sometimes before their mortal time here). I believe the angels that rolled away the stone are also the men described at the tomb, and it would be reasonable to suppose they could have been Moses and Elijah, but we do not know, at least I do not know. What the two witnesses are doing is performing a last witness to those on earth of the god of this earth. They will replicate those notable miracles of prophets who did previously witness and who's witness is recorded in our various scriptures. I expect these things will also be necessary under the circumstances that will prevail. People will try to destroy them, and god will give them power to prevent it, replicating Elijah in that and in shutting the heavens that there is no rain, this act can turn people away from their wars, but it will probably not be enough for all so they will also replicate the plagues brought through Moses upon Egypt to show a disbelieving world that the same god is with them, as was with Moses. Finally they will replicate the most notable miracle performed by the last Prophet sent to the Jewish nation, who was Christ, who rose from the dead after 3 days in the tomb and ascended into heaven on a cloud. There is a reason Enoch and Elijah never died physical deaths, but were raptured. However interesting thing about Lazarus "almost" dying, or dying twice.
The Bible does tells us who the two witnesses are. They are the Olive trees (Jews) and the lampstands (Church Gentiles). Madam, I’d love to point out the fact the Bible clearly states the two witnesses have NEVER tasted death. Therefore since Moses has died he can not be a witness. Leaving Enoch and Elijah. Therefore unless God will contradict His own word Enoch and Elijah are the two witnesses. Continuing on Moses (according to the Bible) is still sleeping(on the earth still dead). The Bible clearly states no one has entered nor seen the new Heaven, for Christ is still building it.
I AGREE I THINK IT IS ENOCH AND Elijah. Mainly because enoch did not taste death AND because God will chose someone LEAST SUSPECTED. David was chosen rather then his brothers. The act of John's eating the roll mirrors the preparation of Ezekiel to perform as prophet. (Ezek.3:3) I believe their is adequate scripture to prove John is still awaiting his first actual death. It is God's manner to 'conceal a matter' which he has done well with the transion from Rev. 10 to 11.

The answer is written in The Gospel of Nicodemus, Enoch and Elijah self identify as the two witnesses who fight the Antichrist. Was Elijah John the Baptist according to Jesus in the Gospels? If John the Baptist is also Elijah, then he had a beheaded death. But I have heard that the two witnesses would be Moses and Elijah. Still learning 😅, thanks for all advice! Edited: Ok your video just answered my question.
According to apostolic teaching from Church fathers dating back to those who knew John to present day, they are Enoch and Elijah. Please refer to an article at Catholic Daily 2006 The Two Witnesses, essay by Scott Montgomery, citing sources of the Church fathers.
The Bible tells you who the 2 witnesses are. The 2 olive trees and the 2 lamp stands. The Bible also tells us who the olive trees and lamp stands are. Certainly they have never tasted death. I would not discount though that these definitions could be taken out of context and it’s possible 2 witnesses are in fact 2 people. I do believe that evangelizing during this time could be done in a larger way with the lamp stand and olives trees definition, in addition to the 144,000 sealed Jews. Either way, I hope to not be hear for that.

Hebrew 9:27 "Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment....". So, since Moses has already died, it could not be him. The only two persons who has not died are Elijah and Enosh. Moses as the law and Elijah as the prophet have appeared to testify the divinity of Christ
Very good points. Considering Jesus' prophecy about 'as it was in the days of Noah', i.e., giants (Nephilim) in the earth, I personally believe one of the witnesses will be Enoch. He had first-hand knowledge of the Nephilim, as he lived amongst them before the Deluge, and he could preach his personal testimony to the masses who will be suffering at the cruel hands of the (returned) giants during the tribulation.

If it is moses and elijah the question of their mortality or immortality should be answered in order to arrive at a conclusion. It does'nt follow that someone from heaven still have a mortal body or else all of these are just wild guesses.

Hmm - I’m a little late on this video but - Elijah is a lock - see Malachi 4. The second witness is a mystery- I wonder why no factors a new prophet raised from this time to bookend with Old school prophet in Elijah - Moses probably does make the most sense - but I’ve always thought that since he was halted from entering the promise land ( temper ) he would have to wait until Yeshua reclaimed it. Enoch wasn’t Jewish - he’s a Gentile - so don’t think it’s him.

Moses? No, because it is appointed unto man, once to die, and after that the judgment. Deuteronomy 34 also shows that :5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. So Moses is disqualified. A better decision would be that of the Apostle John. John 21:21-23.
The two witnesses that never died was Elijah and Enoch , not Moses because he went up into the mountains and died , remember they are sent back to die by stoning in Jerusalem , God will not make you die a second time that's why the only two that still live will come back to die and are brought up alive before them that rejected christ . On another note about Lazarus, Christ was here and he is the resurrection and has the authority to raise the dead but this was for us to know who he is , it only makes scenes that God sends back the two that never died because why would he leave only one and take the other to die and take Moses after he died to die again ? It is God’s power at work. He can have anyone do what has been done before with anyone. Jesus raised the dead and so did his disciples. Throughout the church age the sick have been healed and the dead raised. As far as Moses and Elijah at the mount of transfiguration, it was because they represented the Law and the Prophets, which Jesus was going to fulfill. Enoch represents the per-flood age and Elijah represents the post flood age. Both are prophets and both have never died. As far as the box, God has put himself in the box through his word.

Larry Perino of Rivka Ministries says he found the two witnesses in the Bible Codes and It appears to us that they are the best candidates namely Trump and Netanyahu... It would also explain why the people of the World would send gifts to others when they are killed in the street... They could probably hold their current political positions and serve in the Prophetic office of the 2 Witnesses!!! The answer is written in The Gospel of Nicodemus, Enoch and Elijah self identify as the two witnesses who fight the Antichrist. Jesus was in the tomb for 3 days during which he descends into the underworld and saved the Saints from Hades. This is where Jesus took the keys of hell and death and defeated Satan. Terry Weaver would love to see where you found that at. The Bible says the 2 witnesses have never tasted death. The only two people who NEVER tasted death are Enoch and Elijah. But I would love for you to explain how you came to your understanding.
Since the 144,000 will be of Jewish ancestry, Moses would be a good choice to reach them so they can reach others. I can imagine deadly opposition among the Jews who will seek to kill the witnesses just like they did with the apostles and prophets of old.
I think you're right. I don't think Enoch will be one of the two witnesses because Enoch is a a picture/type of the Church or the Bride of Christ. Enoch was raptured before Noah's flood and the Chruch will be raptured before the tribulation period begins. The Church will not be on earth during the tribulation period.
That doesn't mean that Enoch has to be one of the two witnesses. Even though the Bible says it is appointed for man to die once and then the judgment it doesn't mean all will. There are going to be lots of us who will never die. See John 11:26 The Lord is all about "types" and "shadows" of what is to come in the future. Enoch is a perfect type of the Rapture of the Church.

I don't know what her point was in mentioning that either. I guess she was trying to counter-point some argument that others have. There's nothing wrong with speculating as long as it's made plain that it's just an opinion. God can do whatever he wants. If he wants Moses to be one of the two witnesses then he can, whether Moses has physically died or not.

I enjoyed your teaching on Revelation 11. You have a wonderful teaching manner. The note on Moses having died is important factor. No one teaches the possibility of John himself being the second witness. The plain reading of chapter 10 where the angel instructs John to eat the scroll and tells him that the message of the thunders is not to be revealed in the current testamony of Revelation; then says, “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.”
I always believed that these two misterious men would be Moses and Eliajah. But i used to have doubts about it when i remembered that Moses died. But the argument about Lazarus had died twice is really interesting. I love this channel.

What I love so much about our Most High Holy Living God Our true Father he keeps us on our toes, and when I opened the word of God and asked My Father each time for A spiritual Knowledge and understanding he never let me down, but I also believe some of prayers are always answered only He is Our Father and No is an answer to! God always works on a appointed time, and when I read the OT over n Over, I always came away with different knowledge, along with all the other knowledge he graced me with, I truly believe he knows each and every individual that truly loves him, I know the more I read the more thoughts I uncovered and because he loves us back more then human comprehension, I believe he really enjoys us and even gets a kick out of us at times, Oh how I love n Adore him - I mean my whole body shakes, rattles and rolls when I'm in his presence and I never want to leave his side - can you imagine just being with Our Jesus for eternity, I can't help it I can't help but cry just meditating on him, it hurts me when I hear so many reject him, I just wish they knew how they are missing the most intense love affair any human can be a part of - I love You Jesus I love you so much and here we are 2k years later and I don't have to see you with my own eyes, I know your here!!!

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by your first sentence, but if you mean that Elijah already came and therefore will not again, I would direct you to Malachi 4:5, which is an excellent indication that the prophet will appear on the scene again during the tribulation period, as is the context of the whole chapter of Malachi.
Additionally, taken together with Christine's remarks about the transfiguration and his OT miracles, we can see Moses implied in the previous verse, Malachi 4:4, to accompany Elijah as the other witness during that terrible time.

Hi Christine! Another possibility for the two witnesses could be Michael and Gabriel. They are described as 'two olive trees' and 'two lamp stands' that stand before the Lord of the Earth. They have witnessed all that has taken place throughout History. Revelation 11:3-12, 1260 days or 3 and 1/2 years of Prophesying, then 3 1/2 Days their bodies would lie in the street before being resurrected is the same way as the Messiah, not having seen corruption. Daniel 12:5, Daniel 10:21, Michael and Gabriel having a full knowledge of things to come. They also appeared as Men to Abraham, Genesis 18:2, and verse 6. Abraham told Sarah to make 'three' meals, one for each of them which they ate, also verse 18, shows the two Angels leave for Sodom while the Lord stays with Abraham. Hope you find this interesting.

@@dokterphaidon Hi! Yes, Malachi did say that, but have you considered Matthew 11:14, where the Messiah said that John the Baptist was the one who came in the spirit of Elijah, Luke 1:13-17. If we can accept this, then this would mean Malachi was referring to the Dreadful Day of the Lord in relation to the Destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 AD. Just something to think about.

God doesn't hate white people or black people and to say such things reveals a level of hatred and ignorance in yourself which goes against everything Jesus taught making you automatically false cause you are completely out of the bounds of the fruits of the Spirit. Elijah is surely one of the Two Witnesses, but the other may be John because he was given a message in Revelation 10 then told that he must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. But is there any evidence of him doing so at the close of the first century? I don’t think there is. So it sounds like he’s going to return. Then the two lampstands and two olive trees could represent men from the Old and New Testaments. Just imagine the exegesis they could go into to correct doctrine from both time periods.

All this misleading information does help conceal the identies of the two witnesses (who are Gentile Christains - not Jewish!). Just because this prophet or that prophet had this or these powers or those powers does NOT provide any information as to the identies of the two witnesses. Also, it is quite possible several or more of ancient prophets could return to teach, but most likely their returns will be in spirit form.

Christine, I would think Moses was also translated, Lazarus wasn't translated but raised from death back to mortality. Satan's objection over Moses was probably related to the fall of Adam and the universal nature of death as the consequence.
The two witnesses will teach the gospel of Christ. They will be mortal as were all Prophets during their mortal ministries. However in instances of the conferring of Priesthood keys of authority a prophet's ministry may extend again to Earth as a messenger sent from the presence of God, which defines what an angel is, being spirit only, or resurrected or translated as on the mount of transfiguration with their bodies. Angels are men, who belong to this earth and they minister to it, (sometimes before their mortal time here).
I believe the angels that rolled away the stone are also the men described at the tomb, and it would be reasonable to suppose they could have been Moses and Elijah, but we do not know, at least I do not know.
What the two witnesses are doing is performing a last witness to those on earth of the god of this earth. They will replicate those notable miracles of prophets who did previously witness and who's witness is recorded in our various scriptures.
I expect these things will also be necessary under the circumstances that will prevail. People will try to destroy them, and god will give them power to prevent it, replicating Elijah in that and in shutting the heavens that there is no rain, this act can turn people away from their wars, but it will probably not be enough for all so they will also replicate the plagues brought through Moses upon Egypt to show a disbelieving world that the same god is with them, as was with Moses. Finally they will replicate the most notable miracle performed by the last Prophet sent to the Jewish nation, who was Christ, who rose from the dead after 3 days in the tomb and ascended into heaven on a cloud.
Soon after this Christ will come and there will be an end to wars, and these things will be fulfilled upon the earth:

There is a reason Enoch and Elijah never died physical deaths, but were raptured. However interesting thing about Lazarus "almost" dying, or dying twice.
The Bible does tells us who the two witnesses are. They are the Olive trees (Jews) and the lampstands (Church Gentiles). Madam, I’d love to point out the fact the Bible clearly states the two witnesses have NEVER tasted death. Therefore since Moses has died he can not be a witness. Leaving Enoch and Elijah. Therefore unless God will contradict His own word Enoch and Elijah are the two witnesses. Continuing on Moses (according to the Bible) is still sleeping(on the earth still dead). The Bible clearly states no one has entered nor seen the new Heaven, for Christ is still building it.
I AGREE I THINK IT IS ENOCH AND Elijah. Mainly because enoch did not taste death AND because God will chose someone LEAST SUSPECTED. David was chosen rather then his brothers. The act of John's eating the roll mirrors the preparation of Ezekiel to perform as prophet. (Ezek.3:3) I believe their is adequate scripture to prove John is still awaiting his first actual death. It is God's manner to 'conceal a matter' which he has done well with the transion from Rev. 10 to 11.

The answer is written in The Gospel of Nicodemus, Enoch and Elijah self identify as the two witnesses who fight the Antichrist. Jesus was in the tomb for 3 days during which he descends into the underworld and saved the Saints from Hades. This is where Jesus took the keys of hell and death and defeated Satan spoken of in Revelation.

And here I am thinking that the Transfiguration was Jesus showing the disciples that He in His glorified state of being pure white light - fills all time, so that the disciples witnessed Jesus talking to Moses giving him the 10 Commandments, and Jesus also talking to Elijah on the same mountain, but many years apart.

Thank you. Because we are able to do miracles/signs/wonders even greater things than Christ, maybe Elijah is not the only one who could ever have that fire experience. And, Moses maybe not for all time the only one to perform his miracles. The mysteries are being revealed and we may be surprised!

Was Elijah John the Baptist according to Jesus in the Gospels? If John the Baptist is also Elijah, then he had a beheaded death. But I have heard that the two witnesses would be Moses and Elijah.

I would not discount though that these definitions could be taken out of context and it’s possible 2 witnesses are in fact 2 people. I do believe that evangelizing during this time could be done in a larger way with the lamp stand and olives trees definition, in addition to the 144,000 sealed Jews. Either way, I hope to not be hear for that.

Hebrew 9:27 "Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment....". So, since Moses has already died, it could not be him. The only two persons who has not died are Elijah and Enosh. Moses as the law and Elijah as the prophet have appeared to testify the divinity of Christ

Considering Jesus' prophecy about 'as it was in the days of Noah', i.e., giants (Nephilim) in the earth, I personally believe one of the witnesses will be Enoch. He had first-hand knowledge of the Nephilim, as he lived amongst them before the Deluge, and he could preach his personal testimony to the masses who will be suffering at the cruel hands of the (returned) giants during the tribulation.

Hmm - I’m a little late on this video but - Elijah is a lock - see Malachi 4. The second witness is a mystery- I wonder why no factors a new prophet raised from this time to bookend with Old school prophet in Elijah - Moses probably does make the most sense - but I’ve always thought that since he was halted from entering the promise land ( temper ) he would have to wait until Yeshua reclaimed it. Enoch wasn’t Jewish - he’s a Gentile - so don’t think it’s him.

As far as Moses and Elijah at the mount of transfiguration, it was because they represented the Law and the Prophets, which Jesus was going to fulfill. Enoch represents the per-flood age and Elijah represents the post flood age. Both are prophets and both have never died. As far as the box, God has put himself in the box through his word.

Larry Perino of Rivka Ministries says he found the two witnesses in the Bible Codes and It appears to us that they are the best candidates namely Trump and Netanyahu... It would also explain why the people of the World would send gifts to others when they are killed in the street... They could probably hold their current political positions and serve in the Prophetic office of the 2 Witnesses!!! Also note John The Baptist came in the Spirit of Elias, but he was a man in the flesh... So, we expect these two to be in the flesh. You cannot kill a Spirit...
The two witnesses are The two lamp stands the two olive trees are the remaining church and the believing Israel. I believe.
*My view on who THE TWO WITNESSES probably are in Revelation 11:3:* I think that the *apostles John and James will be the two witnesses.* We read in *Matthew **20:20**-23* that Zebedees sons *(John and James)* will "drink the cup" Jesus drank. The two witnesses preach for 3 1/2 years, just like Jesus did. The two witnesses are killed, just as Jesus was killed after His 3 1/2 year ministry. After 3 days the two witnesses are resurrected, just like Jesus was resurrected after 3 days. The two witnesses are taken up to heaven afterward, just like Jesus was taken up to heaven. This is the "cup" *James and John* agreed to drink. They will come *in the spirit of* Elijah and Moses, just as John the Baptist came in the spirit of Elijah. *John and James* were there *WITNESSING* many of the things Jesus did and said, including when Jesus went up on the mount of transfiguration and they saw Moses and Elijah with Him. On top of this, we also read in *Revelation **10:11* about the angel telling *John* that *he'll prophesy before many peoples, nations, tongues and kings in the future.* Did John do this yet? No. That means it is yet to come! This is, of course, what the two witnesses do: *prophesy before many peoples, nations, tongues and kings!* John and James were called the "sons of thunder" which is very interesting as well, when looking at what the two witnesses will do during that 3 1/2 years.

@@Idontlikethisever I'll be shocked if they're not John and James, after seeing Matthew 20:20-23 and Revelation 10:11. As the lady said in video, and I've used the same point when people would argue against my case: When people bring up "appointed unto man ONCE to die..."

Terry Weaver would love to see where you found that at. The Bible says the 2 witnesses have never tasted death. The only two people who NEVER tasted death are Enoch and Elijah. But I would love for you to explain how you came to your understanding.

Since the 144,000 will be of Jewish ancestry, Moses would be a good choice to reach them so they can reach others. I can imagine deadly opposition among the Jews who will seek to kill the witnesses just like they did with the apostles and prophets of old.
I think you're right. I don't think Enoch will be one of the two witnesses because Enoch is a a picture/type of the Church or the Bride of Christ. Enoch was raptured before Noah's flood and the Chruch will be raptured before the tribulation period begins. The Church will not be on earth during the tribulation period.

That doesn't mean that Enoch has to be one of the two witnesses. Even though the Bible says it is appointed for man to die once and then the judgment it doesn't mean all will. There are going to be lots of us who will never die. See John 11:26 The Lord is all about "types" and "shadows" of what is to come in the future. Enoch is a perfect type of the Rapture of the Church.
PreTribRaptureTruth he also had a closer walk with the lord then Moses and prophesied about the coming of the Lord, amazing considering the time he lived in. This woman talking about Moses properly was resurrected and ascended to heaven is a not in the Bible and personal speculation from sources outside the Bible is unfounded and not evidence. Ridiculous even to mention it.
I don't know what her point was in mentioning that either. I guess she was trying to counter-point some argument that others have. There's nothing wrong with speculating as long as it's made plain that it's just an opinion.
God can do whatever he wants. If he wants Moses to be one of the two witnesses then he can, whether Moses has physically died or not.
