Bertie Blackman is an independent Australian musician and author. She rose to fame in 2004 with her debut album Headway, which came after years of prolific performances around Sydney's inner-city venues, where she developed a dedicated following.
We sat down with Bertie to discuss the release of her book out today, 'Bohemian Negligence' - the celebrated musician's evocative and intimate memoir of the magic and vulnerability of her bohemian childhood growing up as the daughter of iconic artist Charles Blackman.
