Ductape keeps the synergy if it's already on the gun
Bullet effects gained thru a synergy are kept
Passive effects granted by synergy are lost(e.g Mutation)
Also during the rat fight you can destroy the rocket launcher seperatly, disabling the annoying cross hair attack
To make it a bit clearer, guns duct taped to the base gun - the gunbow in this case - technically stop existing which is why they won't give any *new* synergies anymore.

If you write C# code in Visual Studio it's actually super easy because it has InteliSense and it basically completes every word for you, it even tells you how the "command" you're writing should look like. Programming lesson over hit me up if you want more

I don't know how to do it, BUT there's a way to give yourself 99 ducttapes stacked up togheter so you can just use it over and over. (I saw Reto do it in ducttape everything runs)

Weapon synergies with other weapons go away when you duct tape, but weapon synergies with passives don't.

hutts if you duct tape a gun that already has a synergy you will get to keep it but if the gun is duct taped already and you get the item that gives it the synergy you won't get the synergy

If you get a synergy with a non duct taped thing with another non duct taped thing, the synergy stays when duct taped.
