We don't have the death penalty.. it was abolished in 1987, re-imposed in 1993, abolished again in 2006 up to this day.

Death Penalty is actually not imposed in the Philippines. Former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, under pressure from the Catholic Church, abolished the death penalty in 2006. Also, most of us consider death penalty as Anti-Poor.
Currently there's no death penalty in the Philippines. But there are huge masses who continuosly proposing it to law.

The PH Constitution does not allow foreign nationals to own land properties but you are allowed to buy condominium units. The Philippines is generally a beautiful and cheap place to live in and it's the reason why the law does not allow foreigners to own land properties in the country. Just imagine an American or Chinese millionaire buying many of those islands.

I'm not for death penalty especially if you have a problematic justice system like ours. Apart from moral issues, it will just be taken advantage of by people in power. Overhaul of justice system and stronger enforcement of existing laws should be exerted instead.
