Dr Mona is spot on. I ended up with a long-term arthritis condition on both hands, both wrists and left foot. From the age of 39 only. I gave more chances having been harassed by my abandoned relatives and abandoned Muslim community. It was even worse and even more destruction. However, they could not change me from an Empath and with Allah(SWT)'s help I soared even more on my religion. Now In Sha Allah it shall all be beautiful in the world too including pending marriage. I am hoping Allah(SWT) shall send another Empath. They will burn on finding out I have been rescued, burned again if they found out I got married, burned again if find out married to another Empath because it would all be so beautiful like they could never have despite both malignant Narcissistic parents using my resources to build their house whilst trying to stay higher than me for their self-grandiose.

Absolutely 👌🏻 nothing tortures them more than that, because they know they can’t have it.

    Assalamulaikum
I just want to say a HUGE Jazakallah khair for the information you have put into this podcast. I cannot even begin to explain how the depth of your understanding & the detail in which you have explored these people has helped heal my soul.
For over 40 years I have heavily struggled with family members & relationships with certain people as I’m a very empathic person. Not only have you lifted this heavy burden weighing me down, you have given me answers I was looking for which have slowed down and eventually stopped the rumination. The why’s, how come? I don’t get it, playing scenarios over & over in my head robbed me of the beautiful experiences I couldn’t otherwise enjoy. I understand the narcissist does this deliberately….something an empath can’t even fathom.
Ever since I have listened to your podcasts, the methodical order in which you record these, as well as the relevant content you use has been outstanding.
I firmly believe that your education is helping to enrich Muslims lives and in sha allah encouraging non married people especially to be very selective, understand their own boundaries and apply them. Often when your an empath you feel guilty when someone is unhappy with you (through no fault of your own) so you try hard to make things right for the sake of Allah swt and to give you peace again especially as the narcissist knows how to play on your kind, nurturing side.
You have made me realise that a good character isn’t just being kind, honest, forgiving, compassionate etc, we have a responsibility to give those gifts to ourselves as well because otherwise it affects our Imaan. However, I never knew how to do that without setting boundaries and pulling away from toxic people. No matter how much love we give them it’s never enough.
As a Muslim society we are told over & over again to accept these behaviours otherwise we are not good Muslims & Islam is used to ensure we still have a degree of tolerance of these people.
I cannot tell you the peace and contentment I feel releasing these emotions and having someone educate me that I deserve better from people.
Jazakallah khair for all of your efforts, I pray that Allah swt keeps you safe & in good health and blesses you with a partner who truly complements your kind nature. You have a wonderful community of people who have a deep respect for you and your work. It is very courageous to speak out so openly about narcissism as it is predominantly accepted in Muslim communities and never talked about.
    Sending lots of love ❤😢

Thank you very much for your podcast. I have been listening to some non-muslim therapists talking about narcissism, but its really helpful to learn about this from a islamic viewpoint.
I will buy your book Insha'Allah. May Allah grant you and your beloved paradise.

So there is cut-throat competition for dominance,
& This relationship is often more chaotic compared to codependent or an empath

JazakAllah khair Dr Mona. I've ordered your book and am looking forward to reading it. Please can you advise on what we can fo or if we can do anything for someone with narcissistic traits struggle with themselves. Like when their mask falls and you see them act like a child, curl up into a ball and repeatedly saying to themselves "I'm not a good person I'm not a good person"?

Which relationships work.? i have seen a women narcissist and man codependent/narcisst marriage worked out for many years ,is it possible? Thank you.

    • @themuslimnarcissistbook
      @themuslimnarcissistbook  ปีที่แล้ว +2

Yes it’s possible as many unhealed codependents have a very high level of tolerance for long term abuse. The best relationships are empaths x empaths.
