So, I've been just bouncing around from Tut to Tut in no partiuclar order. Am I correct that this newer "track matte" feature eliminates the need for the masking techniques from older videos?
when masking we are able to select the two, right click, and then say mask. is it a must to go thru the track matte to achieve these things, or can we still just select the two and get it that way?
You can keep using masking as you are used to with shapes from our shape library or shapes made by a pen tool. This masking (by using track mattes) can be done with any element.
