Sexual discipline is very important. If you are doing it for spiritual reasons, you are likely to follow through. If it's just practical, due to your personal reasons, those reasons can change based on circumstances or how you're feeling in that moment.

Objectifying women following social status keeps the man constantly empty spiritually, emotionally, mentally, psychologically, and physically.

    • @stepfaniehawkins205
      @stepfaniehawkins205 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

Why the hell would men objectifying women be considered a bad thing..... Y are we worried what it does to the man..... who is doing the objectifying?
Yes you're correct a man that objectifies women his entire life...... will end up alone and sad but you know what he won't end up..... The victim of women oppressing him and possibly unliving him at an early age.
And you know what it does to women and children, this objectification? Create stats and a reality like this....
A woman or little girl is murdered by a man every 10 minutes worldwide.
1 in 4 American little girls will be SAd by the time she reaches adulthood, so will one in seven little boys.
98% of women and children will be sexually assaulting, at some point in their life.
100% women/children will be physically assaulted, multiple times in their life.
These numbers come from a world health organization decades long study on violence against women and children worldwide.
99.9 percent of everything these women and children suffer will be committed by men!
But you are concerned about how the actions of men who abused Women and children, are affecting the man?
This is what's wrong with the world. Even when there's a dead woman or child in the room with a violent man, the first reflex is to focus on how the man is doing?

I'm so glad you said this. The part about sex. I argue with single people about how you have to have other forms of intimacy besides sex. Me and my husband have 2 toddlers. And when I was pregnant with my first, due to unforeseen circumstances, we didn't have sex for about 5 months. I couldn't physically while pregnant and after. And it was hard for him, but didn't cheat or anything. Our relationship was never based on sex.

Some single folks think because they “waited” until marriage their bedroom is going to be endless sex. Then you have those who believe abstaining is unnecessary because they’re going to make sure and marry someone with good sex and matching drive (which absolutely changes). BOTH are in for a surprise.

The issue with conversations around marriage miss the foundation of a biblical worldview. A biblical marriage keeps you rooted because God is at the center of everything you do. When you prioritize seeking the Lord, it gives your marriage purpose and strength, even in challenging times-whether it’s struggles with attraction or anything else. Marriage is meant to reflect the relationship between Jesus and the Church, and that’s where its power lies. Romance is important, no doubt, but it’s the understanding of God’s design for marriage that sustains it.

@@safeplace8 This is not the whole conversation & based on the clip, without context, I can totally see how someone can take it the wrong way. Tim’s response was extremely clear & left no room for assumptions. But “keep up” - is condescending. So, how does that work??? Now you sound “judging”. It’s not giving your profile name “safeplace8” I use all that for an example on how we all can make things worse & to suggest that we help others see where the communication went wrong instead of fighting amongst each other because that’s not glorifying Yahuah at all.

    • @Lil08103

@@shayshay6814 the bible says that we can judge. the issue is there are ways to judge righteously (which God commands us to do) and unrighteously which is what most ppl do. even you telling him he sounds judgemental is a judgement, so clearly never judging is not a realistic goal.
'extremely condescending' is a bit dramatic for what he said. there are ppl who are trying to dog lecrae based on their lack of understanding. one guy said lecrae isnt even a christian based on this clip. so maybe they need a quick rebuke. when i first heard what was said, i had the same thought as what many ppl are saying but thanks goodness i kept my online "pen" quiet, tried to listen charitably and was open to the idea that i was wrong, until i finally understood. mature christians should be sober minded and not jump eagerly to conclusions to then spread.

@@Lil08103 The “ Keep up” comment was positively “condescending”, but I could have left out “extremely”. Like you I started reading the feed and fell pray. For example- I know there’s a such thing as righteous judgement and is why I judged & asked “how does that work?”-meaning condescending. But I commented because of the profile name “safespace8”. Let me try & make clear what I was trying to say- we could help others to see the miscommunication instead of hyping things up where we are now fighting amongst our selves. Now more truth & righteous judgement: A lot of us, on this feed, can be accused of having a form of Godliness & deny the power thereof (2Timothy 3:5)- yes, including me. Just a scripture for us to consider.

In ATL, it seemed like I was a hot commodity b/c I was a natural beauty that didn't have to pay for my booty on my slim thick frame, and having long natural hair always seemed to be a preference (especially for Blk men), but it was obvious they just wanted me to be an accessory to make them look good and didn't care to know ME as a person to have something meaningful...
I kept getting propositions from well-to-do married men who just wanted a young baddie on the side, but I always knew I was meant to be a wife. They put these girls up in nice condos, pay their bills, give them an allowance, keep you clean, nails/toes on point, etc.; but they expect you to be faithful to them even though he'll be a whole married man you're sharing. Nah, it wasn't for me and shouldn't be for any follower of Christ. God wants so much more for us.

They don't want to talk about... but the Bible doesn't necessarily enshrine monogamy as the sole option. If you find people who are willing...polygamy is an option. That's if you find a women or men who are willing to participate. The patriarchs were polygamous and it was not counted against them. When David committed adultery and murdered the woman's husband... he was already married to multiple women and the prophet days of we wanted more... the LORD would have given him more!
2 Samuel 12:7: "You are that man! The LORD, the God of Israel, says: I anointed you king of Israel and saved you from the power of Saul. I gave you your master's house and his wives and the kingdoms of Israel and Judah. And if that had not been enough, I would have given you much, much more".

As usual, freewill has consequences. It's not God's idea for marriage.
Same with Jesus being the bridegroom, there's one bride, and its his church. Not more than one
      Ephesians 6:31-33
31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

@christinajohnson8904 brother chill. Not because we laugh at the person sin doesn't mean we love it or endorse it. The fact they still hold on to righteousnessly to there moment of purity still shows. They have the desire to remain pure.

Technically, if we following the Bible , if a man married a woman and she was barren , God allowed for that man and wife to have a concubine for the creation of child .
It was never suppose to be multiple women for one man .
Even Solomon was warned by God , and we see how that went .
