    ♡ What's in this video:
    Looking for a simple quote process for florists? You're in the right place.
    For years, I wasted so much time on all that back and forth with customers, making the whole florist enquiry system, way too complicated. And time consuming - for me and for my clients. I know we lost out on revenue because we took too long to respond and made the process too hard.
    And this was particularly true for small events. Those instances where someone just wanted to a few table arrangements (felt like we'd spend more time on those enquiries than even some of our biggest weddings).
    But, eventually, I figured out an easier way, a better florist enquiry process. And that's what I'm sharing in this week's video.
    So, if you're looking for florist shop systems, flower shop event management tips, and real flower business tips, you're in the right place.
    My goal with this video is to make is to easier for you to scale your flower business and stop you from having to spend hours on Google, looking up things like "how to charge for floral arrangements" or "event floral centrepiece pricing formula".
    Also, if you're looking for tips on wedding centrepiece pricing formula, wedding floral centrepiece pricing tutorial, or you're wondering how much does a centrepiece cost, this video will help.
    If you want it, here is the final recipe for this centrepiece:
    Ingredients = $57 wholesale
    5 x Kale
    5 x Died Mums
    4 x Andromeda
    3 x Wax Flower
    8 x Pixie Sim
    3 x Statice
    Sundries = $7 wholesale
    2 metres satin ribbon
    12cm x 12cm vase
    pot tape
    Price = Wholesale x 4 = ($57 + $7) x 4 = $320

    Wow good tips THANK YOU!!!!!!!My new line to say to myself is “I am the driver”. In my case I always under charger and please my customers. In the end I don’t feel good because I am the one losing. I am learning as a go and before I saw your video I already came up with my flower recipe which is working wonderful.
    But I am still have doubts that I am over charging grrr. It’s like a rollercoaster I feel bad if I am under-charging and I feel worse if I over-charging I need to get my shit together 😅(Excuse my French lol 🫢. THANKS AGAIN FOR THOSE TIPS!!!

      Yes! You are the driver and it's your business and that's the beauty of it 🌸 We speak alot about shifting your pricing perspective on our instagram feed @littlebirdbloom. Check it out for some great tips on changing your mindset around pricing.
      Remember the worth of your work, it IS worth that much and you shouldn't be charging any less than that. 🥳

    Hi Kathleen! Lovely video as always. What would your response be if they decided on just purchasing work already posted on your website or questioning the quoted price . I’m assuming the wholesale x 5 is because events have more pressure but they don’t know that. I hope my question makes sense haha

      For the customers who question the quoted price, it's an AWESOME opportunity to educate on everything that goes into making the magic happen. So much of the customer's hesitancy is that they just don't know and they're too afraid to ask so if anyone is questioning the quote it's a great sign they're keen and they want to know more. 🥳

    Thank you for your insight. I'm enjoying your channel. I'm confused by your pricing strategy though. In your formula and example, "price = wholesale x4", it appears your markup factor is actually 5.
    Math: (57 + 7 = 64) x 4 = 256
    whereas,
    (64 x 5 = 320). How is that extra $64 allocated? Thank you in advance for clarifying.

      There are two different equations taught, which align to two main sectors of floristry - for daily deliveries, the most common formula taught is Wholesale x 3 + 30%. The shortcut I like to use here is Wholesale x 4. For weddings + event work, the most common formula taught is Wholesale x 3.5-4 + 30-50%. The shortcut I like to use there is Wholesale x 5 😊
