      Well you still have integrated electronics. Those do break.

    • @Stefan-
      @Stefan- 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@JoseFuentes-fn3dl The electronic of a guitar is usually so simple and sturdy if done in the classic way that the guitar body would likely have to be broken to pieces before anything will happen to the electronics, one thing that might possibly happen is that the shafts of the volume/tone controls could break of, but that would likely take quite severe mechanical stress since they are usually made of metal.

    Nice show but to much Hollywood. The guitar may be very durable indeed, but that Marshall 4x12 cabinet surely was fake, it broke like it was made of paper without speakers, baffle and back instead of 19mm plywood with all the contents, if the cabinet were real the guitar would likely have bounced off. Fake or empty cabinets are often used as stage props to make up these walls of Marshalls.

    • @censport

      That's not Hollywood, that's Yngwie. ;) The monitor wedges, drum riser, and stage floor are quite real, though.

    • @kosarsakic1982
      @kosarsakic1982 5 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      You're absolutely right. Most of those guys cover the stage with dummy cabs. I saw another "wall of marshalls" guy probably 15 years ago and got a tour of the stage before the show. He probably had 25 Marshall cabs and 12 heads on stage. Guess how many were mic'd or turned on? Zero. Behind them backstage was a JCM800 2x12 mic'd up under a sound blanket, and none of the 4x12's even had speakers in them.

    I just played one of those axes. (I think they made 3 or 4.)
    HEAVY!!!!!
    You'll need a seriously wide/strong strap for it.
    The frets are part of the overall piece of steel....so no way to replace any of them.
    There was some fret-buzz on the 1st and 2nd strings.....5th fret area.
    I did not plug-in.
    Again, you really feel the neck-heaviness of this axe as soon as you pick it up.
    If you let go of the neck, down she goes.
    As I held-up the guitar with one hand I could feel it sliding down my hand.

    • @MFKR696
      @MFKR696 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      The shape of a LP is far more structurally-sound than the shape of a Strat. It makes sense for them to do it this way if the goal is to be truly indestructible. The horns and heel of a Strat are structural weak-points that the LP does not share. It's only got one horn, which is much shorter and fatter than that of a Strat, and the heel is much stronger on an LP. The only area where LPs are inherently weak is their headstocks.

      To make it truly unbreakable they should have figured out to have machine head tuners without the pegs...maybe concealed and turned with an allen wrench. Other solution is to keep the headstock for looks, not have machine heads and tuning is done at the tailpiece, like a Steinberger setup.
