I will say that "Thunder Blight" (What NA Mabi calls the electric arcana skill.) Really trivializes a lot of encounters, and I am okay with this. It just goes to show how much arcana changes the game when I was able to solo this on a secondary character with only an enchanted Staff for MA. The rest of the enchants I had were max damage on the elf and really didn't come into play. I will say, have you noticed on the KR side that Using Shadow flare (the Fire attack for arcana) on the Rabbit Yeti and the Glenna Berna boss tends to cause the damage to hit a cap and then it Recover's a ton of HP? We see that on our side so we weren't sure if it was the mob itself doing it or if the game has a Damage cap it accepts. What are you thoughts on this?
I'm not Megumin but am an NA player. I believe it was starting with Irusan from Crom Bas but they've started giving mobs damage caps. Basically, our hits are buffered now when they're hit, since players are SO damn strong now, and we often debuff bosses to hell and back, we can't just burst them down to nothing. So now, at certain hp thresholds, we have to do the boss mechanics. Otherwise, they'd have to give them *absurd* amounts of hp, which would be fine for the endgame gigas but anyone else trying that content would probably never be able to handle them. I myself am not super giga, but with 1269 MA, and link 9 DD, my Shadowflare chunks 30% of the Unfinished Reverie's hp. I know of a player that can shadowflare Irusan for 2mil damage, and that's part of why they have damage caps.
We call it Deal-Cap, and some boss monsters have it. (crom bas, glenna berna, Chronicle dungeon) They don't take much damage at every 5% HP. Lots of players dislike it, so in a recent live streaming, Director Min touches on it, said Deal-cap is gonna be relaxed soon.
@Hyoukia this just goes to show they had no plan on how to balance hp versus defenses. Reforging is partly to blame for this imbalance since it is so unpredictable. Honestly, if they wanted phases clearly communicated, they would need to make multi-level health meters. I personally think that glen normal is way to hard for the rewards it gives, and hard is such a massive jump. As we say here in NA, they are flying by the seat of their pants. This thing is what really is dismotivating to invest in new gear when they make it.
Do you have a reforge or something cause your dorcha never changes when you spam fireball, I feel like my management is poor and I can’t figure out how to keep it up. I render dorcha off cooldown I feel

I don't have any reforge about dorcha. Only one thing I can advise is that using Render dorcha is important.

마공이 15%정도 더 오르는 거고, 몬스터에 따라 다르겠지만 평균적으로 대미지도 그만큼 오르는 효율이 나올 거에요.
현재 메타에서는 마공 1400이어도 어지간하면 다 즐길 수 있으니 천천히 더 강해진다는 목표로 맞추시면 좋을 거에요!
