I found my first-parents when I was 16. What about our needs? IMy adoptive parents were abusive. My adoptive father was a pedophile. I had a deep seated need to find my first-family. The needs of the adoptees should really matter more. Not all adoptive parents are good people.
The husband didn't want the child Suppose the state is thinking of the protection of the child Most abused is done by step Now this guy may not be abusive but its unpredictable
I’ll bet that angry woman who called in RULES her husband and children with an iron fist! I know this is an old show and I’m so glad adoption info has changed mostly for the better. I totally disagree with the new practice of taking on the pregnant mother, letting her live in your home, and continue to be in your daily lives after the birth of the baby. I’m pretty sure it often ends badly. ANCESTRY.COM and others have blown these old practices out of the water!
I think the birth mother should be " adopted" NY the family too..not just " cared for" reluctantly..as a means to get her child from her. The birth mom is a human being...in need of help..not just a machine used to get a baby and then to be forgotten..like the gumball machine after the gumball pops out. The machine is a important and ask worth wanting as the prize it doles out.
The angry condemning women are really bothering me. If they go home tonight and their husband says, "I'm leaving you". I bet their brains are going to stop sorting information properly.
Okay, 30:22 so we blame the Catholic upbringing for guilt about children better being brought up with two parents but we never mention that that same Catholic upbringing is also supposed to keep you from conceiving a child if you are not married to the father. You cannot have your cake and eat it too. Either be a woman who forgets religion and social convention and has an affair with a man who has no interest in marrying you or having anything to do with the child you conceive and keep the child if you so choose OR be a religious Catholic woman who does not believe in fornication or adultery and who believes that children should be raised by both a mother and a father. If you do not follow that religion's tenets about morality, why do you feel you have to be concerned about its advice in other areas? Don't blame that religion for causing you to give your child up for adoption that you would never have conceived in the first place if you were truly practicing the religion. That is hypocritical. Be consistent.
i dont understand those silly religious people,if just giving birth is considered sinful, why is your god so loving according to you?for me your faith is no different than belief in santa claus
I agree with you none million percent. It's not the fault of the moral system and the morals if you choose to freely rebel against them and disobey. If people just followed the religion in the first place we would have a lot less of these messy situations. Bravo..well said.
First, its “eat your cake, & have it too!” I know it sounds wrong, 🤷🏼♀️ but it’s actually been misconstrued, since it’s initial occurrence, in 1738, by Jonathon Swifts Polite Conversations by
Just an FYI fun fact ; 💁🏼♀️ It’s “eat your cake & have it too!” However goofy this may sound, (& admittedly, it does! 🤷🏼♀️) it only sounds goofy, as since this English idioms first occurrence, (by Jonathon Swift in his 1738 play entitled, “Polite Conversations.” ) it has been misused repeatedly. Therefore, most people will have only known the erroneous placement, of eat, & have!…have a good one!…✌🏼🇨🇦
The people from Cub have been so helpful to me during my search for my Mother. Thank you we are still in touch today.
Great show.

Does anyone know if Bonnie and Rod Kelly got the baby back?
Good question! I would like to know as well.
Sadly, I feel the adoption system is primary money driven. Very corrupt, and as for the law......🤣🤣🤣
I need some help finding mine
