Okay ladies and gentlemen - finally after like 5 years, I played the song start to finish with no (or very minimal) mistakes!! My hand did not fall off this time etc. What a fucking absolute clinic of a song this is. I feel like I just beat Ninja Gaiden.
@@TheFlexXMLG To be fair, James played all the guitar parts except for most of the solos on the first five albums. He'd use Kirk's gear and record half of the rhythm tracks because as Flemming Rasmussen put it "When you've got such a precise rhythm, why not make sure everything sounds perfect," or something close to that.
The bass is mixed too loud and the drums are too quiet in this (quite the same with most of these uploads unfortunately, with the bass drowning out the guitar and the snare hardly cutting through, and Lars's drums were DEFINITELY a lot louder than this).
for real? A Spot in the last view secs by that kind of video? omg... Had a "perfect" round (such like:yeah, training helps, it almost worked perfect) and than this comes at the end...
Hey man I checked it out. Sounds good. I'm impressed with the way you approached some of the more challenging licks. nice. i was like "This is totally what I do." At least i know I'm not alone. Rather, I do this as much as my wife will put up with the badass telephone pole chewing metal!!!
The rhythm section is out of this world during the solo. Simply amazing.
You know to me, I think James Hetfield should do more Lead Guitar solos like Kirk Hammett.

@@TheFlexXMLGActually, James used Kill Bon Jovi (white Jackson King V) for most of the rhythm tracks on Puppets.
@@TimSterling1981 wow, i wrote this 6 years ago 😅 but yeah, I read that in James’ new book too. Thanks for the correction 🤘
cliff rulesssssss !!!!
Picking Hand BootCamp Hell!
Awesome bass by Cliff! But I am pretty sure this louder bass would not get approval from Lars.
Anybody notice how funky the intro and outro sol sections are on base?

perhaps you can make your own mix, if you're not happy with this one
@@stedmangg no he's right man it is like that ...its just an observation. no need to be ugly my friend.
