I’m so glad I found this review! I couldn’t find a single review for this book for some reason TH-cam wise!!
The translation is fairly recent, but I suspect more and more folks will be sharing their thoughts. Have you had a chance to read it? It has really colored my perspective on No Longer Human.
Cheers, Jack
@@ramblingraconteur1616 hello Jack, yes I just finished it for a second time only a few hours ago, and the translation is alright I think that it’s a bit lacking but good for now! And I love that it’s a “prequel” (I think) to No Longer Human. Danzi is a great author that I hope to read in the native tongue someday.
Cheers, Jason
Great review! Just got done reading the book
Have you read anything else by Dazai?
What did you think?
@@ramblingraconteur1616 i read no longer human and I thoroughly enjoyed both books, i think the flowers of buffoonery shows the author in a more raw style which allows you to learn more about him as a person
Where did you read it? I can't afford the book and I can't find epubs in the internet
@@neodoyyoungsee if your library has it.
Have you decided the comfy reading chair is a perm edition to the recording process?
It can sometimes be easier to just slide it over than to bring another chair in . . .
