    Great review and video Darren, it was very interesting to hear your assessment. A lot of your testing was in wet and muddy conditions, you were pretty damn fast for that. Thank you for answering my question. As always a great video and nice overlays. Thanks for sharing and take care buddy. Ride on

    Love this review format glad to see it back 👍🏻 Looks a fair bike as well, great starting point and east for upgrades by the sounds of it. Now to catch up on your videos, you've been busy 👀👀

      I think it’s fair to say that I was more impressed than I was expecting to be. If this is the most recent video you’ve seen, then you’ve got a lot of watching ahead of you 🤣

      @@TrailTrackerSwitzerland 🤣🤣 it is okay there are a few raw videos in there which we both know I miss out, otherwise would have been watching your videos for next 4 weeks 🤣

      I'm done with raw edits anyway. When I look at the analytics, it's pretty clear that even though some people appreciated them, they did more harm than good to the channel by confusing the algorithm.

      @@TrailTrackerSwitzerland yeh Marc tried it for a while and did the same for him. They are great to watch, but I just prefer the more structured story telling the full edits hold, they give me something as such where as raw edits are more akin to chilled watching if that makes any sense 🤣

    Nice review man... Bike looks good as well... Does look a bit too chunky around the BB though... A lot of other bikes tend to hide the motor a lot better than this one...
    Well put together video Darren... :D

      Thanks Phil. You’re right the motor is a lot more obvious than on many other bikes, but based on how it rides, I can forgive it that 😉

    Good review, I bought one of these last summer from TS Velos, Etziken last summer (great shop and staff). Few reasons I bought it, the size M fitted me perfectly! (5ft 9j Tried a few other bikes, Trek, Focus etc and couldn’t get a good fit. It was one of the only bikes available at the time, I loved the all black colour, I didn’t need the higher tech controllers, simple and works is my preference. I also like the option of all the power! Where the Orbea didn’t. Overall very happy, agree on the tyres, I have some Eddy Current ready to put in. Not been cycling since Sep due to health, neck/disc problem and going round in circles with Swiss health care! Hopefully back up the Gislifue soon though.

      Sorry to hear that you haven't been able to enjoy this fab bike as much as you would have liked. Fingers crossed you'll be back out soon!

      @@TrailTrackerSwitzerlandBeen out the last few weeks, not going too crazy! Been up Gisliflue today, tracks really nice and dry (remember previous springs) also done a few nice tours and single tracks near Gränichen. Still love the bike, can’t really fault anything, Eddy Current are working well, brakes are perfect, not grabby at all. I’m using it on fast tracks, tight and technical too and can’t fault it. Cheers

    What’s better orbea wild? H20

      @TrailTrackerSwitzerland  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s a tough one. I honestly think it depends how you ride and what you’re looking for. I love my Orbea Wild, but it only really comes alive when you’re riding it hard. This one on the other hand didn’t need to be ridden so hard to make it work well.
