Regarding the misinformation about the reaper. The Bible is clear that its not the devil, demons, or some other skeletal evil creature. The reaper does not cause the death of people. He reaps (from where we get the word rapture) the saints both those that are alive and those that had previously died. Jesus is the reaper.

The unrighteous (straw and weeds) will be cast into the furnace. Additionally, the story of Romeo & Juliette is a shadow of the relationship that Jesus has with his bride, ie the church. He died for them. In him, they die to themselves. Its silly that so many think that this song is satanic and evil in nature. BOC may have intended that, but when read in the light of scripture - which is the basis for these ideas then this song is the love story between Jesus and the church. It is not a frightening or scary song, but one of hope. Eric Clapton struggled with drug addiction. After conquering it he wrote the song “cocaine” itemizing its destructive power, and yet its been turned into an anthem for its use. COCAINE! Jesus is the reaper. There is no such thing as a grim reaper with skeleton head and scythe.
I listen to B.O.C., and I follow their message not to fear the reaper, but I do cross the street if I see him walking towards me, quite frankly. Real talk.
