A Trip to Sol Timor Apartments, Montemar, Torremolinos, Spain - 11th to 29th March 2024

- We took a trip to the Sol Timor Apartments in Montemar which is near Torremolinos on the Costa del Sol in Spain. We went for 18 nights from 11th March to 29th March 2024. This was to include St Patricks Day celebrations there. This video includes a room tour and some of the surrounding area.
As we have visited this area on numerous occasions we have got friendly with people who live there. One of our friends, Peter Hall, who was an entertainer in the area took ill shortly before our arrival. We did get to see him in hospital but he sadly passed away whilst we were there.
Apart from this tragic event we still enjoyed our trip.

First ever holiday was to Sol house and now staying in Sol timor on Wednesday my four kids wife brother and sister , we all love Montemar, great area , Brilliant video, you look 10 years younger after the sun😂😎

Bril video Bruv. I have never stayed in the Sol Timor so really good to have an independent review of the place. I am back out end of April for my usual 4 week trip to Montemar. The snack bar next to Paddywacks is now closed until further notice. The Sol House is now The Ocean View. Looking forward to seeing you both hopefully in November. Cheers.
Sol Timor is a great balance of value and functionality and I would recommend it. Don't be looking for luxury but it's comfortable and spotlessly clean. Paddywacks is under a refurb at the moment also, but I'm sure it won't be too long, as the summer season is looming. We're out to Benalmadena at the end of May so we may cross paths and maybe enjoy a cold one together. Thanks for watching and take care.
@@GaryGSF Where in Benalmadena are you staying. Personally I prefer Benalmadena to the centre of Torremolinos.

Almost as bad as Lanzarote with all the Irish names.. Great clip Gary...Have you ever visited Puerto del Carmen...I can take all these Irish bars in small dozes..
All the Irish bars are concentrated on the one hill. As St Patrick's Day can be a little flat in Northern Ireland, we head to Spain for the party. We do not actively seek an Irish bar when away normally. We've never been to Puerto del Carmen. Tried to go during the pandemic but was cancelled twice.
